Purpose:

The Investor Relations Manager supports Athene’s fixed income investor relations program and helps execute investor engagement and communications that advance the company’s capital markets priorities. Reporting to EVP & Head of Investor Relations, this role partners closely with Finance, Treasury, Capital Markets, Investments and other business leaders to translate complex financial information into clear, compelling communications for institutional investors.

Accountabilities:

  • Support the execution of Athene’s fixed income investor relations strategy, helping align investor communications and engagement activities with corporate and capital markets priorities.

  • Coordinate Athene’s quarterly fixed income investor call process, including development of presentations, executive messaging, Q&A materials and cross-functional deliverables.

  • Partner with Finance, Treasury, Investments, Capital Markets, Accounting, Legal and Communications to develop accurate and effective external messaging related to financial performance, strategic initiatives and market positioning.

  • Analyze investor sentiment, market trends, competitive activity and stakeholder feedback to identify themes, develop insights and recommend actions that strengthen investor engagement.

  • Develop investor presentations, executive materials and other communications supporting institutional investor engagement, capital markets activity and senior leadership discussions.

  • Improve Investor Relations processes, digital communications and operating routines by applying technology, AI-enabled tools and creative problem-solving to increase efficiency, consistency and investor experience.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, capital markets, treasury, corporate finance or related financial services disciplines, or relevant experience preferred.

    • Willing to consider candidates at higher levels with more experience

  • Strong knowledge of fixed income markets, debt capital markets, insurance, asset management or related financial markets, with the ability to interpret financial information and identify implications for investors.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality financial and executive communications, synthesize complex information and communicate effectively with senior leaders and external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking and relationship-management skills, with the agility to manage multiple priorities, operate effectively in changing environments and influence across functions without formal authority.

  • An innovation and continuous-improvement mindset, including practical AI fluency and sound judgment about when technology can improve analysis, communications or workflows while maintaining appropriate controls and accuracy.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, or equivalent experience.

$115,953.60 - $173,930.40 USD Annual


Annual Salary for this role is market competitive.  Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.  Depending on the role, a discretionary bonus plan or variable sales incentive may be included.
