💻 Role

The Seller Growth Product team’s mission is simple but ambitious: accelerate seller success on Whatnot.

We build experiences that help sellers ramp up quickly and grow sustainably — from seamless onboarding and education to personalized incentives and challenges that motivate continued engagement. Our goal is to empower every seller to turn their passions into thriving businesses faster.

As our next iOS Engineer, you’ll help shape the mobile experiences that power this journey. You’ll work closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver elegant, performant, and impactful features that drive real growth for sellers. Your work will focus on:

  • Developing high-quality iOS features in Swift and SwiftUI that power seller onboarding, education, and incentive experiences — with a strong attention to detail, performance, and user experience.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and data partners to define goals, manage scope, and align on priorities that balance speed, quality, and impact.

  • Leveraging data and experimentation to guide product decisions — designing and analyzing A/B tests, digging into results, and iterating to accelerate seller success.

  • Contributing across the stack when needed (our backend is primarily Python) and staying open to learning beyond iOS.

  • Upholding engineering excellence through code reviews, documentation, and thoughtful technical discussions.

We offer flexibility to work from home or from one of our global office hubs, and we value in-person time for planning, problem-solving, and connection. Team members in this role must live within commuting distance of our Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco or Seattle hub.
