At Inflection AI, our public benefit mission is to harness the power of AI to improve human well-being and productivity.

The next era of AI will be defined by agents we trust to act on our behalf.

We’re pioneering this future with human-centered AI models that unite emotional intelligence (EQ) and raw intelligence (IQ)—transforming interactions from transactional to relational, to create enduring value for individuals and enterprises alike.

Our work comes to life in two ways today:

Pi, your personal AI, designed to be a kind and supportive companion that elevates everyday life with practical assistance and perspectives.

Platform — large-language models (LLMs) and APIs that enable builders, agents, and enterprises to bring Pi-class emotional intelligence into experiences where empathy and human understanding matter most.

We are building toward a future of AI agents that earn trust, deepen understanding, and create aligned, long-term value for all.

As an iOS Engineer at Inflection, you will build and own the iOS application platforms and client-side systems that bring our conversational AI to millions of users. You will collaborate closely with research, product, and infrastructure teams to rapidly ship reliable, secure, and high-performance AI features on iOS. Your work will directly impact user experience, release velocity, and the stability of our production iOS apps at scale.

  • Strong command of software design patterns, scalable architectures, and iOS engineering best practices, with a track record of shipping high-quality production apps.
  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced environments and simplify complex technical challenges.

What We’re Looking For

  • Develop and refine high-performance iOS applications that integrate seamlessly with advanced AI systems.
  • Design, architect, and implement core components in Objective-C and Swift to power real-time AI features.
  • Build low-latency, memory-efficient mobile infrastructure essential for advanced model inference and dynamic UI experiences.
  • Conceptualize, prototype, and launch innovative mobile features that showcase state-of-the-art AI model capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Applied Research teams to deliver intuitive, high-fidelity user experiences.
  • Establish and uphold engineering excellence through rigorous code reviews, comprehensive testing, and performance optimization.
  • Evaluate technical tradeoffs, shape mobile architecture direction, and drive innovation in mobile-AI interaction through continuous experimentation and iteration.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field to the offered position requirements.
