About Us

Squint is the Industrial Intelligence Platform, built for the workers who build the things you touch and see every single day. We're the only solution that brings together all the context of an industrial organization into a custom industrial knowledge graph, unique to every customer. Building with AI and AR, that foundation powers the workflows and applications that put the right information in frontline operators' hands on the factory floor and in the field, exactly when and where they need it.

Proven Impact with Industry Leaders

Our technology serves Fortune 500 leaders across manufacturing, field services, and utilities. These companies trust Squint to capture and activate their essential operational know-how, resulting in measurable improvements: reduced downtime, minimized waste, and optimized productivity at scale.

Backed and Built by the Best

We raised a $40m Series B at a $265m valuation and are backed by elite investors including Sequoia Capital, Menlo Ventures, TCV and The Westly Group. Our co-founders have been recognized on Forbes' 30 Under 30 for Manufacturing and Industry, and Fast Company named us one of the most innovative augmented and virtual reality companies of 2026.

About the Role

We're hiring an IT Ops Lead to own the systems, tools, and infrastructure that keep every Squinter productive — and secure.

Sitting within our Finance & Operations team, you'll be the person who makes sure new hires get set up on day one, our tools and vendors are managed well, and our basic security hygiene is solid — all without slowing anyone down.

What You’ll Do
  • Own our internal systems: You'll manage the SaaS tools, devices, and access that Squinters use every day — provisioning, deprovisioning, and everything in between.

  • Run IT for onboarding and offboarding: You'll make sure every new hire has what they need on day one, and that access is cleanly removed when someone leaves.

  • Manage vendors and procurement: You'll own relationships with our software and hardware vendors — selection, contracting, renewals, and spend tracking.

  • Keep the basics tight: You'll own foundational security hygiene (access management, device policies, SSO) in partnership with Engineering.

  • Be the go-to for IT issues: When something breaks, you're the first call — and you're building the tooling and runbooks so fewer things break in the first place.

About you
  • You're the person people go to when something technical breaks and needs fixing now.

  • You're organized and process-minded, but not bureaucratic about it.

  • You care about security fundamentals without needing to be a full-time security engineer.

  • You're comfortable being a department of one, and building support systems from scratch.

What You’ll Bring
  • 4+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar role, ideally at a startup.

  • Experience managing SaaS tooling, device fleets, and vendor relationships.

  • Working knowledge of core security practices (SSO, access management, device management).

  • Strong organizational skills and a bias toward clear documentation.
