Your Primary Focus: Generating Sales Qualified Meetings

In this role, your most important objective is to generate sales qualified meetings between potential clients and our sales team. Unlike traditional SaaS sales development, you'll be engaging in consultative conversations about custom solutions, requiring deeper business acumen and technical curiosity. Your success will be measured primarily by the number of qualified meetings scheduled and accepted. Best of all, our commission structure rewards you not just for setting meetings, but also when those meetings convert to opportunities and closed deals—allowing you to benefit from the full sales cycle's success.

Key Responsibilities: Note - This is a U.S.-based remote role working from a United States location. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. This can be either a contract to hire or direct hire position.)

 

1. Generate Sales Qualified Meetings

  • Research and identify decision-makers in target industries including fintech, healthcare, education, and technology companies primarily at mid-market companies ($500M+) facing complex technology challenges requiring custom software development, AI implementation, or digital transformation initiatives, who would benefit from GAP's IT services
  • Conduct targeted outreach to key decision makers such as CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Directors of Engineering
  • Schedule qualified meetings between prospects and GAP's sales executives

2. Maintain CRM Excellence

  • Maintain a clean Salesforce database to track all prospecting activities
  • Use Gong to supplement Salesforce data and improve outreach effectiveness
  • Document all prospect interactions and track pipeline progress

3. Leverage Sales Intelligence Tools

  • Use ZoomInfo full toolkit to identify companies showing intent for custom software, data engineering, or AI solutions and prioritize outreach based on buying signals
  • Leverage LinkedIn Helper 2 for to target connection requests and messaging automating personalized connection requests, follow-up messages, and engagement with prospects
  • Track conversation insights with Gong to improve outreach effectiveness

4. Optimize Outreach Strategies

  • Test and refine messaging approaches for different industries and personas
  • Apply data-driven insights to personalize messaging and increase response rates
  • Develop compelling value propositions for GAP's IT services

This position may require some travel for industry events.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in IT services sales development, business development, or lead generation (preferred over SaaS sales experience)
  • Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder solutions with longer sales cycles (6-18 months) strongly preferred over transactional SaaS experience
  • Comfortable discussing technical concepts and business challenges at a high level with C-suite executives and technical leaders
  • Responsive and excellent communicator
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a growth mindset
  • Strong relationship-building abilities

Compensation:

$55,000-70,000 base salary plus performance-based commissions and bonuses.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration:

  • 3+ years of business development, sales development or lead generation experience in IT services, systems integration, or technology consulting (custom software development, managed services, or enterprise infrastructure) 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on professional business correspondence
  • Proven ability to engage and build credibility with technical decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, Engineering VPs) and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes typical in enterprise technology purchases
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and sales intelligence tools
  • Working knowledge of enterprise technology concepts including custom software development, cloud migration, data engineering, or AI implementation. Ability to understand and articulate technical business challenges and solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or recruitment goals
  • Proficient with sales technology tools including LinkedIn, video conferencing, and digital communication platforms
  • Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise accounts with 6-18 month sales cycles preferred over high-velocity SaaS environments
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Bachelor's degree required
