This role is onsite 5 days a week in Milpitas, CA

As a warehouse IT specialist, you will help us maintain networks, security camera systems, badge systems, alarm systems, printers, desktops, laptops, and other IT assets. A successful candidate should have experience in IT project coordination, a solid technical background, and strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily Tier 1 IT support for warehouse operations, including network, laptop/desktop, warehouse badge/alarm system, barcode and Wi-Fi printer, scanner, touch screen, PDA, UPS, and other IT-related equipment.
  • Manage IT equipment inventory, IT assets, and in-house Warehouse Management System (WMS) user access privileges.
  • Maintain, repair/replace, and ensure all IT equipment is in good working condition, including preventative maintenance.
  • Perform Daily, Weekly, Monthly IT and Warehouse Inspections.
  • Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including WAN/LAN networks, Access Points, MDF/IDF, video conferences, SAN, NAS, surveillance systems, security cameras, and warehouse system-related IT servers, storage, and applications.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Create basic floor plans and elevation diagrams for building, MDF/IDF, and IT Infrastructure.
  • Create simple project plans for IT Infrastructure and buildouts.
  • Write SOPs and user manuals and provide IT training to end users.
  • Participate in the local implementation of HQ projects.
  • Other projects or tasks assigned by IT and Warehouse Managers and/or /Directors

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of relevant work experience in IT support.
  • Proficient computer networking skills, such as managing the IT server room network switch/firewall.
  • Experienced in computer troubleshooting skills (Windows, Mac OS)
  • Possess good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in security camera systems & badge systems.
  • Nimble and patient with good communication skills.
  • Works independently without supervision
  • Warehouse-related IT support experience is preferred.
  • CCNA or equivalent

Work Schedule: 

  • Office Hours: Monday  -  Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (Flexible schedule based upon business needs)
  • On-Call: Monday  -  Friday, 5 PM - 9 AM; Saturday - Sunday, 24 hours

Compensation Range

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $72,000 - $85,000
  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits 
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
