About Gravitics

At Gravitics, we're not just exploring space—we're building it. We're creating the infrastructure for a thriving space economy, enabling humanity to flourish beyond Earth. Our vision is bold, but we're not just dreamers; we're doers. We design and manufacture the large-scale structures and systems that will power human and robotic activity in Earth orbit and beyond. If you're ready to lay the foundations for a new era in space, embrace a culture of relentless learning and innovation, and contribute to a future where humanity's reach extends farther, Gravitics is the place for you. Let's build the future, together.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team and serve as the backbone of our daily technical operations. In this role, you will be an administrator for our Microsoft ecosystem (Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, M365) and the first line of support for our employees, including providing dedicated desk-side support for CAD engineers.

You will drive critical security and infrastructure initiatives. This will include various examples including provisioning Intune-managed hardware, deploying physical security systems, and leading cybersecurity awareness/tech training. The ideal candidate thrives in a busy environment, seamlessly balancing hands-on helpdesk troubleshooting, rapid onboarding/offboarding workflows, and continuous system optimization, all while maintaining rigorous security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Microsoft Ecosystem Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for Microsoft Entra ID (including SSO setups), Teams, and SharePoint, optimizing sites and building Power Automate workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Helpdesk & Software Support: Provide comprehensive daily IT support, resolve password resets, manage Jira Helpdesk tickets, and deliver dedicated desk-side support for CAD engineering teams.
  • Hardware Provisioning & Endpoint Management: Manage endpoint devices including Windows, Mac, and mobile devices via Microsoft Intune. Enforce strict compliance policies (FIPS encryption, session locks, controlling USB devices). Execute rapid employee onboarding/offboarding and perform cryptographic hardware disposal procedures.
  • Security & Compliance: Design and deploy employee cybersecurity awareness training and simulated phishing campaigns. Ensure users sign Acceptable Use policies and maintain accurate Entra ID device registries.
  • Physical Security & Network Hardware: Assist with the physical deployment and maintenance of networking equipment, access control systems, Axis security cameras, and iPad visitor management systems. Deploy and maintain conference room AV systems.
  • System Migrations & Audits: Migrate staff to new software (e.g., ZTNA VPN), set up Adobe Sign workflows, phase out legacy hardware (e.g., Verkada cameras), and conduct widespread audits of hardware inventory, email distributions, and shared calendars.

About Compliance

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
