At MNTN, our IT team keeps the business running behind the scenes so everyone else can do their best work. We're looking for an IT Systems Administrator who loves solving problems through automation, building scalable systems, and making SaaS applications work seamlessly together.

In this role, you'll own and improve the tools our team members rely on every day, from identity and access management to collaboration platforms and core business applications. You'll partner across the company to simplify processes, strengthen security, and help shape an IT environment that's efficient, reliable, and built to scale.

What you'll do

  • Automate repetitive IT workflows using scripting and integrations to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Administer and integrate core SaaS applications including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, and other business-critical platforms.
  • Configure and maintain secure authentication, provisioning, and lifecycle management using SSO, SAML, SCIM, and OIDC.
  • Establish and evolve IT standards, documentation, and operational best practices that support a growing organization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across endpoints, SaaS applications, and identity systems while providing an exceptional employee experience.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate new tools, improve existing systems, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

What success looks like

  • IT workflows are increasingly automated, reducing manual effort while improving reliability and consistency across the organization.
  • Identity, access, and SaaS integrations are secure, scalable, and easy for employees to use.
  • Core collaboration and productivity platforms operate smoothly with minimal disruption and strong user satisfaction.
  • Documentation, standards, and operational processes mature alongside the business, making onboarding, support, and administration more efficient.
  • You're viewed as a trusted partner across the company, proactively identifying opportunities to improve how MNTN works through technology.

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years of systems administration experience in a mixed Mac and Windows environment.
  • Strong experience administering Google Workspace and Okta.
  • Experience with Python or another scripting language used for automation.
  • Deep understanding of identity and access management, including SAML, SCIM, OIDC, and application integrations with identity providers.
  • Working knowledge of DNS, email infrastructure, and email security technologies including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and phishing prevention.
  • Experience supporting security and compliance initiatives such as SOC 2 and SOX audits.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Nice to Have
    • Experience administering Atlassian products.
    • Experience with email platform migrations.
    • Experience with additional identity providers or enterprise SaaS platforms.
