About Mytra:

We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.

About the role

As an IT Systems & Automation Engineer (SSO/IAM) at Mytra, you will help build and run the identity, access, and automation foundation that keeps our teams productive and our systems secure. This role sits at the intersection of:

  • Identity and access management (IAM): SSO, SCIM, MFA, lifecycle automation, role-based access
  • SaaS and systems integrations: connecting business systems with reliable, auditable workflows
  • IT operations: endpoint fleet administration, onboarding/off-boarding, security baselines, and incident response fundamentals

You will work closely with People Ops, Finance, and Engineering to scale our internal tooling and access model.

What you’ll do:
  • Own and evolve SSO + SCIM across our SaaS stack (provisioning, de-provisioning, group/role mapping, and access reviews).
  • Build and maintain automation for joiner/mover/leaver workflows, including policy-driven access changes and audit-ready logging.
  • Implement and maintain integrations between key systems (e.g., identity provider, HRIS, finance tools, ticketing/work tracking), ensuring reliable data flow and clear ownership.
  • Administer core IT services (Google Workspace and SaaS administration, device management/MDM, password/MFA policies, baseline security controls).
  • Partner with stakeholders to define least-privilege access models, troubleshoot access issues, and improve the overall employee experience.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation and run books in Notion, and drive adoption through clear communication and training.
Ideal Candidates
  • Have 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, IT engineering, or IT automation, with clear ownership of production systems.
  • Have hands-on experience with a leading SSO/IAM provider (e.g., Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping, Google Workspace SSO) and strong fundamentals in SAML/OIDC, SCIM, and MFA.
  • Have strong MDM/endpoint management experience (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Intune, Rippling MDM), including fleet onboarding, policy enforcement, and troubleshooting.
  • Have experience building and maintaining integrations and automation using tools like Zapier, Workato, Make, and/or direct API-based workflows.
  • Have strong automation skills (scripting and APIs). Comfortable building tooling in Python and/or Bash, using webhooks, and working with REST APIs.
  • Can balance security and usability, communicate tradeoffs clearly, and operate with strong attention to detail.
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-changing environment, prioritizing well, and owning outcomes end-to-end.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Rippling (identity and device management) or similar HRIS-anchored IT tooling.
  • Familiarity with compliance and audit workflows (e.g., SOC 2 access controls, evidence collection).
  • Experience supporting engineering-adjacent workflows (SSO for internal tools, integrations with work tracking, or basic infrastructure automation).
A Final Note:

If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply — even if you don’t check every box. At Mytra, we build bots, but we hire humans. We value thoughtful challengers who communicate with clarity and respect, and we’re lifelong learners committed to getting better every day. We move fast, learn faster, and show up for each other under pressure. The best outcomes come from diverse perspectives working together to build something meaningful and built to last

Benefits Include:
  • Competitive compensation and equity grants at a high-growth company backed by top-tier VCs
  • Fully subsidized health coverage, including medical (baseline plans), dental, and vision for employees and dependents
  • 401(k) plans and employer-subsidized life insurance
  • Fully subsidized lunch and snacks at HQ—we eat and share stories together at the “long” table
  • Generous PTO and company-paid holidays, including one week over the winter break so everyone can recharge together
  • Voluntary pet insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity
  • Fully subsidized tax advisory services and education to help you understand your equity
  • Commuter benefits, including a up to $150 monthly commuter benefit
  • Lively, modern combined office and lab space where we rapidly iterate through design, build, and test phases
  • Fully equipped onsite gym and showers at headquarters
