Develop full-stack web features using JavaScript and CoffeeScript, focusing on modern web applications and open-source projects. Engineers contribute to the company’s open-source frameworks, including KD and Kite, while maintaining existing products and pushing new frameworks. The role requires deep JavaScript expertise and strong software engineering ability across front-end and back-end development.
First things first, you will focus on the modern web - We don't support IE10 and less, so you'll never have to worry about them!
Most of our code is written in CoffeeScript front- and back-end.
We're an open-source driven startup and we contribute back to the community. We continually push new products/frameworks and maintain the ones that we're the authors/users of.
All engineers on the team contribute to full stack feature development as well as improving our open source projects, including KD (http://github.com/koding/kd), Kite (http://github.com/koding/kite).
We're looking for engineers with deep JavaScript expertise and interest to participate on our open-source projects.
Ok, sound good?
This job could be described as Front-End Developer, but it is not because you must be a _damn_ good software engineer first.
Hope to see you at KodingHQ.
