WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
We seek a dynamic and driven individual to join our JD Edwards Team as JDE Business Process Application Manager focused on Financials. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications ERP, the individual will work with business functional area teams globally on JD Edwards implementation projects, guiding them through business process design, redesign, and optimization. The individual in this role will balance the requirements of the enterprise business processes and minimize the need for system customization to utilize the systems' standard processes.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing and ensuring proper processing of the JDE Financial Systems
  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper communication with all the project stakeholders
  • Conduct interviews with business users to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and document current business process definitions
  • Write detailed descriptions of business needs/requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs and/or automated processes
  • Identify and recommend areas of process improvements by analyzing industry standards and applying best practices
  • Develop gap analysis and recommendations of defined business processes
  • Oversee/conduct data mapping, population, and accuracy, including obtaining business sign-off for audit and compliance purposes
  • Manage project assignments for internal and external resources
  • Coordinate estimation and tracking of development project costs and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Design application security to be communicated to the JDE Security Officer, build & manage test plans, and obtain sign-off for audit and compliance purposes
  • Conduct user testing and acceptance
  • Act as the top-level contributor/specialist in resolving problems
  • Perform troubleshooting and consultation on complex issues
  • Stay aligned with core Global Finance and JDE Support teams.
  • Provide timely updates to the JDE management team.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships by improving IT Solutions
  • Communicate needs to the IT central teams following the implementations

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years' experience in multiple ERP implementations with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 in the E1 Finance and Distribution modules
  • 3-5 years' experience in designing and configuring business processes within the JD Edwards E1 Finance and Distribution modules along with deep knowledge of the modules' business processes
  • Strong familiarity with the JD Edwards data structures, menu configuration, UDC, version lists, function configurations, and overall process functionality
  • Strong integration experience of external software/solutions to JD Edwards
  • Strong documentation skills, including user requirements, designs, presentations, and process flows
  • Experience influencing stakeholders across the organization
  • Global orientation to adapt and flawlessly execute technology solutions around the world
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills to work well on cross-functional project teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, consultative, and conflict resolution skills

  • Understanding of fundamental project management techniques and processes

Any of the following would be a plus
  • Business Process Re-engineering
  • Use of SQL and report-writing tools, i.e., ReportsNow
  • Experience/exposure to TRAX, CONCUR, ESKER, etc.
  • Project management
  • JDE certifications (any modules)
  • Experience with technical design and/or development

Starting salary between $110,000-$130,000 CAD
