The Junior Solution Architect will design solutions for clients, collaborate with teams for cloud architectures, and support pre-sales efforts.
We are seeking a Junior Solution Architect to join our growing team. This role will support operations and pre-sales efforts, focusing on quoting and solution design for existing client projects. The ideal candidate is a technologist with strong communication skills, capable of clearly articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position offers an opportunity to grow into a senior Solution Architect role while working on cutting-edge technologies.
What You’ll Do
- Envision, create, and design technical solutions that align with client needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and sales teams to develop scalable, cloud-based architectures.
- Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for existing client engagements.
- Present and support solution proposals, including technical documentation and pre-sales activities.
- Work closely with clients to understand business objectives and translate requirements into technical blueprints and solution designs.
- Research and apply best practices across technologies to ensure innovative, effective solutions.
- Stay current on cloud technologies and Protera’s service offerings to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Assist in solution architecture for SAP Basis or cloud environments (entry-level experience acceptable).
Requirements
What You Bring
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Entry-level experience in SAP Basis or cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of solution design principles and IT infrastructure basics.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Associate or Bachelor’s preferred).
- Bonus: Certifications in cloud technologies or enterprise architecture.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to pre-sales or client-facing technical roles.
- Familiarity with quoting tools and processes.
- Basic knowledge of networking, security, and enterprise applications.
