We are seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team at Transfr! This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing team and have a direct impact on how data is used to drive strategic decisions across the organization.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical and eager to learn. You enjoy solving problems, working with data, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business functions. You may be early in your career, but you are excited about developing your technical and business acumen while helping build scalable reporting solutions.

As a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive our strategic initiatives. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to build scalable reporting solutions, analyze key business metrics, and help us make data-informed decisions.

Location: This position is 100% Remote and can sit anywhere in the United States.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.
Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity considerations. This role may also be eligible for bonus, company variable compensation, and equity programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve on internal reporting tools and dashboards for a wide array of teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Engineering.

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis across multiple business domains, focusing on business operations, product utilization, and overall financial performance.

  • Analyze business operations, product utilization, customer engagement, and financial performance data to identify trends and actionable insights.

  • Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources.

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to coordinate projects, gather requirements, and present complex analytical findings in a clear, accessible manner.

  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field OR 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, Operations Analytics, or a related analytical role.

  • Strong proficiency and hands-on skill in writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.

  • Familiarity or working experience with industry-standard BI and visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or similar tools).

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

  • Proven ability to translate technical data points into strategic business language for non-technical teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
