What you'll do:

As a Junior Graphic Designer you'll design, create, and manage graphics for our omni-channel marketing which includes email, direct mail, print, social media, sales collateral, paid advertisements, digital banners, the company website and more. You'll use information provided to design and create content (such as flyers, advertisements, social media graphics, etc.) on multiple platforms. You'll track and execute all routine marketing updates (of offerings, service metrics, products, rankings, and company descriptions on the company website, partner websites, and sales collateral). Additionally, you'll produce graphics and optimize company branding and campaigns while building a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in the mortgage marketing space.
  • Design and create sales and marketing collateral such as sales flyers and decks, email graphics, social media graphics, recruiting collateral, internal marketing, paid advertisements, banner ads, direct mail and event graphics.  
  • Develop routines to maintain a fresh look for collateral inventory.
  • Track, maintain, and update all marketing content in multiple locations, including the company website, partner websites, sales collateral (flyers and presentations), and ongoing advertisements.
  • Participate in marketing strategy execution including effective implementation of action steps to meet divisional goals.  
  • Maintain a consistent and constant flow of communication with team members and managers.  
  • Work closely with senior designers and other team members to execute design projects from conception to completion.
  • Utilize strong creative skills and eye for good design and visual aesthetics while contributing to our growing content library and building on your own personal portfolio.
     

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of related experience in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design tools.  
  • Video editing and animation capability, and familiarity with printing process preferred.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience with Pardot, MailChimp, Drip, Constant Contact, HubSpot preferred.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
