About the role

We’re looking for our next Sales Representative to join our Sales team in the United States. As a self-motivated professional, you will drive “new business” growth in Florida and the surrounding states. You will act as an Edpuzzle evangelist to communicate with public schools in the region, acting as a subject matter expert in Edtech sales. You will discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiate deals, and maintain customer satisfaction. You have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers.

About the job:

  • Create new business opportunities through active prospecting, outbound campaigns, and outreach to untapped districts to build your pipeline and acquire new accounts.

  • Communicate with schools in your region, understanding their needs and goals, and become an Edpuzzle expert who knows the key metrics driving new business.

  • Reach out to prospective schools in resourceful and engaging ways across multiple channels — calls, outbound campaigns, follow-ups — to coordinate meetings and spark interest with dozens of prospects daily.

  • Seek out face-to-face meetings with IT coaches, curriculum leaders, or school administrators.

  • Discover how schools in your region are organized, allocate funding, and approve purchases.

  • Own the full sales process, from developing strategy to closing, in order to achieve your goals.

  • Maintain a strong pipeline, logging all activity and opportunities accurately in Salesforce.

  • Achieve business goals and targets, managing OKRs, KPIs, and ARR.

  • Meet regularly with your manager to review status and plan next steps, growing from daily task-setting into full autonomy over time.

  • Manage renewals for existing school licenses to ensure continued satisfaction and adoption, while prioritizing new business growth.

  • Travel within Florida and surrounding states to conferences and meetings up to 50% of the time.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About you:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales development and prospecting — ideally 2+ years, preferably in K-12.

  • Knowledge of the school sales cycle and educational purchasing system in your region.

  • Passion for sales, supporting students and educators.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and function well in a high-paced, at times stressful, environment.

  • Persistence and grit: you don't give up until you get what you want, and you adapt flexibly to new strategies.

  • Self-motivated: you can stay on-task while working alone, and you're a team player who looks for ways to learn from and help teammates.

  • Strategic thinker, comfortable identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Unintimidated by new technology and quick to pick up new skills.

Bonus skills:

  • Previous experience teaching, coaching, or training teachers preferred.

  • Consultative selling experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • … or another amazing skill you bring to the table that we haven’t thought of yet!
