Builds and maintains relationships with key opinion leaders and pulmonary hypertension centers, leads regional marketing and speaker programs, gathers market insights, and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access. Provides regional access and reimbursement support, addresses payer and brand access issues, and ensures all activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations, company ethics, and legal guidelines. Travel is expected 60%–80%.

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent.
- Prior PAH or PHILD experience and existing KOL relationships.
- Minimum 5 years of PH therapeutic area experience.
- A minimum of 5 or more years work experience in one or more of the following functions: marketing, clinical liaison, thought leader management, key account management, market access or clinical sales.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding expectations in assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to build credibility and trust with KOLs.
- Strategic mindset including the anticipation and interpretation of KOL beliefs to understand opportunities to support commercial and marketing strategy, messaging, and resources.
- Collaborative style by building trusted relationships with cross functional partners
- Deep knowledge of academic medical centers understanding referral patterns and networks.
- Excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills with an ability to present to large and small audiences.
- Excellent product and PH disease state knowledge
- Strategic, passionate, self-starter who takes initiative and demonstrates the ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and complexity.
- Strong understanding of the laws, regulations and rules governing the pharmaceutical industry, and history of ethical and compliant behavior.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to travel 60%-80%.
Responsibilities
Identification of and cultivation of professional relationships and support with key opinion leaders and leading centers within the PH community
- Identify, develop, and maintain professional relationships with national and regional PH Centers and KOLs.
- Generate business insights and explore Liquidia engagement opportunities such as advisory boards, speaker’s bureau, congress and regional symposiums, sales training, etc.
- Identify and develop KOLs for regional and national level engagement.
- Partner compliantly and ethically with Medical Affairs on complementary strategic initiatives with shared KOLs.
- Lead regional direct marketing efforts and tactics with targeted accounts and KOLs.
- Gather and provide KOL insights through interactions about current treatment management patterns and future treatments that impact the development of commercial and marketing strategy, initiatives, and resources.
- Partner with commercial sales team to identify key accounts, thought leaders, issues, and trends in geographical areas.
- Act as a liaison between KOLs and Liquidia including connections with cross functional partners and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and execute strategies for KOL congress participation and supporting development.
- Lead in developing and delivery of regional speaker programs, including developing and training speakers, developing content, attending programs.
- Compliantly assist the planning of Liquidia marketing advisory boards through advisor identification and meeting objectives.
- In collaboration with cross functional partners, provide access and reimbursement support and education at regional accounts.
- Establish and maintain regional relationships between SP field team members in collaboration with market access team.
- Understand payer reimbursement landscape and support communicating market access value positioning of brand.
- Identify and troubleshoot specific brand access issues and leverage resources to work towards resolution.
