Position Summary

The Key Account Manager, LMWF is responsible for developing and executing strategic account management initiatives that drive profitable growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and expand market presence across key customers and the LMWF business segments.
This role leads the development of long-term customer strategies, oversees commercial execution, and ensures alignment between customer needs and company objectives. The Key Account Manager, LMWF will partner closely with marketing, supply chain, technical, and leadership teams to maximize customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
The role also serves as a key leader in identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic negotiations, and driving commercial excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the strategic growth plan for assigned key accounts and market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with strategic customers and business partners.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract management to ensure profitable growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including sales, operations, technical teams, customer service, and supply chain to deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Drive achievement of annual sales targets, revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted markets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure effective forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting of business performance metrics.
  • Support strategic supplier and principal relationships aligned with customer and business objectives.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture focused on responsiveness, innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in sales, account management, or commercial leadership roles within the Lubricant and Metalworking Fluid markets.
  • Proven experience managing strategic or national accounts within distribution, specialty chemicals, manufacturing, consumer products, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations and deliver profitable business growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, forecasting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support customer and business objectives, up to 50%.
