The Role

Fisher & Paykel appliances is seeking an innovative Key Account Manager to manage and grow the relationships with our key dealers in the East Bay/NorCal region!

You Will

  • Be the brand ambassador and product expert for Fisher & Paykel and DCS full suite of products

  • Build account relationships with top dealer accounts

  • Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory

  • Train sellers within our dealer partners on how to best position and sell our products to end consumers

  • Delivers marketing and communication support to top dealer accounts

  • Participate with the sales management team in developing the sales strategies for the business

  • Think like an owner and manage the assigned territory and P&L

  • Monitors competitor activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated

  • Help to achieve Company strategic objectives, including, but not limited to, achieving budgeted sales, and performing administrative duties, for example, timely submission of spiffs, expenses, mileage claims, and dealer claims

  • Work cross collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing, and other Territory Managers in the country

  • Someone who has a background in, or deep knowledge of, design, architecture, or an associated field.

  • A strong relationship builder - you've got your eye on the high-level strategy but also the details that matter to the right people.

  • You've got the intelligence, commercial awareness, and savviness to be able to close a deal but also make yourself a long-term business partner to our dealers.

  • A road warrior – you enjoy traveling and building relationships with your clients.

You Have

  • Three - Five years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role – preferably in luxury premium appliances

  • Undergraduate degree or related experience

  • Background in design is highly desirable

The total target compensation (base salary + variable incentive) range for this position is $90,000 - $160,000. This range is a guideline and may not reflect your exact offer. Factors considered when extending an offer include (but are not limited to) education, experience, relevant skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
