About Terranova Backed by leading climate and American dynamism investors, Terranova builds intelligent robotic systems to terraform the Earth itself, from lifting land, restoring wetlands, to protecting critical infrastructure from floods and sea-level rise. We're assembling a world-class team to work on something real, physical, and civilization-scale.
What to Expect We're seeking a Lab & Process Intern to support the development of our pulp and paper plant operations. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build out lab processes and protocols from scratch at an early-stage company.
Key Responsibilities
Run viscosity and rheology experiments on pulp slurries and related materials
Support general lab experiments as directed, including sample preparation, data collection, and documentation
Maintain accurate lab records and help develop repeatable testing protocols
Assist in interpreting results and flagging anomalies or trends to the team
Help keep the lab organized, calibrated, and stocked
Qualifications
Working toward a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field
Some hands-on lab experience (coursework, research, or personal projects)
Detail-oriented and comfortable working with physical materials and equipment
U.S. permanent residency required
