JOB SUMMARY

As a Launch Manager, you will turn new supply opportunities into scaled, high-value marketplace programs—from initial pilot through incubation and growth, until they become established sellers on B-Stock. Supply comes to B-Stock directly from brands and channel partners with extensive brand networks, and you’ll own these relationships post-sale. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role where you’ll partner closely with Sales, Strategy, Marketing, and Project Management to deliver successful launches and build momentum on the platform. You’ll pair strategic thinking with hands-on execution, advising brands on how to succeed on B-Stock and driving the work needed to scale their programs. You'll also build the launch engine itself, using AI to automate the repeatable parts of intake, pilot setup, and performance tracking so each new program launches faster than the last. This person reports directly to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Operations.

B-Stock is an office-first company. You will be expected to work on-site three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at one of our offices in Boston, MA or San Francisco, CA, with Monday and Friday remaining non-office days where you may perform your duties remotely from your residence. We believe having consistent time together helps teams stay connected to the work happening across the business, collaborate in real time, and move ideas and decisions forward more effectively.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own new seller launches from opportunity intake from sales and pilot design through pilot, and initial scaling
  • Drive seller growth post-launch by analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, securing additional inventory, and developing high-potential sellers into meaningful B-Stock businesses for the first 6 months before passing for ongoing growth to dedicated Account Managers
  • Manage partner relationships post-sale. Own the B-Stock relationship with 3PL, donation, and RMS partners as the primary commercial contact — including onboarding their brand networks, structuring programs, and resolving escalations
  • Develop launch strategies including pricing, pilot parameters, and success criteria, in partnership with Sales
  • Drive cross-functional execution with Sales, Strategy, Marketing, and Project Management to get new programs live quickly and resolve issues along the way
  • Build and improve the playbook for launching and scaling sellers, using data, AI, and learnings from each program to make the process faster and more repeatable
  • Develop deep category expertise, bringing insights on brands, inventory, pricing, buyer demand, and marketplace performance to seller strategy and growth

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • 5+ years of experience in implementations, early-stage customer success, strategy and business operations, or a related client success function — ideally within e-commerce, retail, or marketplace environments
  • Proven record of owning outcomes across a portfolio of accounts, launches, or programs, measured on growth
  • You are skilled at navigating complex, cross-functional projects and bringing together internal stakeholders across functions to drive customer success
  • Ability to drive launches to completion across many stakeholders without direct authority
  • You have excellent communication skills and can represent B-Stock credibly with brands and partners
  • Hands-on experience applying AI within operational workflows, building automations or agentic processes that handle multi-step work like data pulls, performance reporting, or launch tracking with minimal manual oversight

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passionate about re-commerce, the circular economy, or reverse logistics; experience in e-commerce, retail technology, or supply chain is a strong plus
  • Experience working with apparel and footwear brands
  • Experience launching and scaling new customer or seller programs, from initial onboarding through measurable growth

The pay rate for this role will range between $100,000 to $140,000, per annum. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant’s work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

  • Competitive compensation packages, including bonus and options
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits
  • Paid Time Off, telecommuting, and matching 401(K)
  • Support for continuing education
  • Team offsites, social events, and extracurricular activities are a staple
  • Snacks, drinks, and the occasional box of donuts

THE COMPANY

B-Stock is the world's largest B2B re-commerce platform, connecting sellers and buyers of returned, trade-in, and overstock inventory. Our customers range from today’s top brands and retailers that want best-in-class inventory resale management to tens of thousands of entrepreneurs looking to purchase valuable merchandise for their resale businesses.

While the amount of returned and overstock inventory continues to grow, there is also growing pressure on retailers and consumers to adopt a more circular economy and keep products in use as long as possible. Accordingly, the need for re-commerce solutions - to find products a second life - has never been greater! At B-Stock we’re proud to play a large part in powering resale, reuse, and the circular economy through our platform: annually we sell over 130 million items across all categories and conditions, equating to 400 million pounds of inventory.

We believe there is tremendous value in and demand for this inventory - no matter the category, condition, or location. With hundreds of thousands transactions completed annually, B-Stock gives buyers a simple and direct way to buy valuable products directly from retailers and offers sellers a technology-driven replacement for traditional resale methods, while boosting operational efficiency, recovery rates, and cycle time.

Led by eBay veterans and backed by top investors including Spectrum Equity, True Ventures, and Susquehanna Growth Equity, B-Stock shows no signs of slowing down. Our core values have shaped the company we are today and will continue to drive our success for many years to come.

OUR VALUES
Make Each Dollar Count
Whether it’s the recovery amount or a buyer’s budget, money matters to all of our clients. And because each dollar matters to them, it matters to us.

Take Our Work Seriously, Not Ourselves
Everything at B-Stock continues to grow - everything but our egos, that is. We’re not afraid to let loose and laugh (often at ourselves).

Do The Hard Things Today That Will Pay Off Tomorrow
We’re willing to sacrifice and endure, fail and adapt to reach our long-term goals.

Use Trust As The Best Measure Of Success
The trust we earn along the way is more valuable than money. Without trust from both our buyers and sellers, our business won’t succeed.

Find Strength In Numbers
Use our passion for data to provide value to our customers, improve ourselves, and develop new ways to delight our buyers and sellers.

No applicant will face discrimination/harassment based on race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, age, gender, marital domestic partner status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, or veteran status. Above and beyond discrimination/harassment based on “protected categories,” B-Stock also strives to prevent other, subtler forms of inappropriate behavior (e.g., stereotyping) from ever gaining a foothold in our office. Whether blatant or hidden, barriers to success have no place at B-Stock.
Work Authorization required.
