Position Summary:

The Lead Account Resolution (AR) Specialist handles training for all AR departmental staff, answering questions, performing audits, and monitoring client performance levels to ensure numbers align with established goals, reporting any deficiencies to their direct supervisor or manager. The Lead will communicate with clients and vendors as needed.


Primary Job Duties:

  • Monitor pre- and post-charges areas in software to ensure charges are billed and followed up on time.
  • Create new insurance plans in software.
  • Supply team assignments as directed by Account Resolution Supervisor or / manager.
  • Supply on-going training for staff.
  • Collaborate with Account Resolution Supervisor for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Communicate with clients and vendors as needed.
  • Answer Account Resolution Requests/Patient Escalations on time.
  • Performs additional duties as directed by Account Resolution Supervisor / manager.

Travel

Some travel is expected for this position based on business needs.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED diploma
  • 2 years’ related experience in the Account Resolution role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of online systems for eligibility and status review of claims.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision exercising independent judgement within guidelines.
