How you’ll make an impact:
Establish, maintain, and evolve Salesforce enterprise and reference architectures
Own design methodologies, technology standards, and architectural guardrails aligned to Salesforce and EW best practices.
Translate business roadmaps into executable architectural strategies and ensure solution designs are utilizing repeatable design patterns and are scalable across BUs and regions.
Provide oversight through planning, delivery, and operations to ensure compliance with standards and long‑term health systems.
Champion “Trusted” designs: least‑privilege access, MFA/SSO, platform encryption, data classification, logging/monitoring, and change governance—embedding enterprise security guardrails and best practices
Guide the responsible use of AI in a regulated med‑tech environment by applying Well‑Architected pillars to ensure trust, auditability, and risk mitigation
Survey emerging Salesforce platform capabilities and act as the technical lead for RFIs/RFPs, vendor assessments, and cross-functional solution design.
Coach and mentor junior staff
Develop, institute, and maintain the IT design methodology, development process methodology, technology standards, and best practices.
Provide oversight to ensure compliance with architectural standards and practices through all aspects of planning, execution, and operation.
Provide expert guidance on enterprise-level projects / initiatives or programs to business and IT executives by maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the company's strategic business plans and by identifying opportunities to leverage IT to realize those plans.
Design enterprise and reference architectural models of current and proposed systems across the enterprise for use internally and in conjunction with external technology partners.
What you’ll need (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field plus 14+ years of technology experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as an architect leading cross‑functional teams on complex or enterprise‑level system implementations across technology and business.
5 years of industry experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated environments.
What else we look for (Preferred):
Proven experience as a Salesforce architect overseeing large‑scale, cross‑functional, or complex Salesforce implementations.
One or more of the following Salesforce certifications: Application Architect, System Architect, Data Architecture and Management Designer, Technical Architect, or Integration Architect
Demonstrated leadership across all Salesforce architecture domains.
Proven ability to implement enterprise-grade Salesforce security practices, including MFA/SSO, least‑privilege access, Shield/Encryption, Health Check, and auditing.
Excellent communication and documentation skills, with strong fluency in English.
Able to clearly articulate complex architectural decisions to both technical and business stakeholders.
Strong understanding of Sales, Marketing, and Inventory Management workflows and related ecosystems, including marketing platforms and ERP systems.
Program & project management skills
Knowledge of financial modeling and planning as it pertains to IT investments
Experience with Jira, Own data seeding and backup, Copado, Nintex, Informatica
Knowledge of best practices related to IT governance, operations, and administration
Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.
For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $191,000 to $271,000 (highly experienced).
