The role & impact

As the strategic architect behind our most impactful integrated marketing campaigns, you will transform business objectives and market opportunities into breakthrough creative strategies. You will act as the vital link between strategy and execution, translating insights into compelling briefs and ensuring every campaign delivers on both brand and commercial goals.

You will lead global campaign strategy while empowering regional teams to adapt and amplify these messages locally. By pushing for fewer, better and bolder campaigns, you will elevate our creative standards and drive work that genuinely breaks through the noise, influencing stakeholders and building consensus across a matrixed organisation.

The team & how they connect

You will work closely with Product Marketing, Regional Marketing, Communications, and our internal creative team, The Hub, to ensure campaigns are fully integrated. It is a collaborative environment where you will partner with external agencies to push creative boundaries while connecting the dots across the business to ensure alignment.

Initially, the role will focus on

  • Developing a deep understanding of the brand, audiences, and competitive landscape while building relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Establishing a clear process for campaign brief development to ensure creative excellence and buy-in.

  • Identifying quick wins where tactical programmes can be elevated or combined for greater impact.

  • Delivering your first campaign brief that demonstrates a strategic approach and raises the creative bar.

Where and how you can work

This role is based in Australia or New Zealand with flexible working arrangements available. As this is a global role, regular collaboration with teams across different time zones will be a natural part of your rhythm.

Here are some of the things we are looking for

  • You possess a background in campaign strategy and creative development within tech marketing (B2B or B2C).

  • Translating insights into compelling creative briefs that inspire breakthrough work is something you excel at.

  • You bring a proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that deliver measurable business results.

  • Experience managing creative agencies and internal creative teams to produce excellent work is essential.

  • You demonstrate a strong understanding of measurement and analytics, with the ability to connect campaign activities to business outcomes.

  • Navigating complex organisations and influencing without authority comes naturally to you.

Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.
