About the Role

The Lead Client Success Manager is a high-impact, customer-facing role responsible for owning and deepening relationships with Atropos Health’s Life Sciences customers and strategic partners. This individual serves as the primary post-sale point of contact and trusted advisor to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, ensuring successful onboarding, delivery, and long-term value realization from Atropos Health’s real-world evidence solutions.

In this role, the Lead Client Success Manager collaborates cross-functionally with clinical insights, data science, engineering, and sales teams to drive customer outcomes across key areas such as R&D, market access, medical affairs, and commercial strategy. The individual is accountable for managing the end-to-end customer lifecycle—from initial implementation and training through study execution, insight translation, and expansion planning.

A successful Lead Client Success Manager brings a blend of scientific fluency, project management discipline, and strategic client engagement. They proactively identify opportunities to deepen platform adoption, translate complex evidence into actionable business insights, and advocate for customer needs internally to drive innovation and service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and partners to ensure smooth delivery operations and maximize client satisfaction in partnership with the Clinical Insights and Analytics team.

  • Monitor usage metrics and key performance indicators to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct periodic status meetings and business reviews with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators and satisfaction metrics to internal leadership.

  • Act as a Life Sciences subject matter expert both internally and externally.

  • Partner closely with the Life Sciences Sales team to generate meeting content and value stories, aligning Atropos Health’s capabilities with customer needs.

  • Partner closely with Atropos’ Product team to provide client feedback and suggestions for new features and enhancements.

  • Become proficient in Atropos Health’s proprietary Temporal Query Language (TQL) to query data, understand patient counts, and run simple studies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this role.

  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently.

  • Must have experience managing projects with top-tier pharmaceutical companies.

  • Prior experience working with real-world healthcare data (EMR, claims, etc.) and leading projects with life sciences companies (pharmaceutical and biotechnology) is required.

  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with SQL are required. Additional coding languages (e.g., R, Python) are a plus.

  • Prior experience working and proven aptitude in a startup environment.

  • A bachelor’s degree with at least 5+ years of work experience in healthcare, consulting, or pharmaceuticals/biotech is required.

Reporting

The Lead Client Success Manager reports directly to Sarah Bauer, Vice President of Client Success.

Location

We are a remote first company! You must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We cannot support visa sponsorship at this time.
