About the Role

The Lead Client Success Manager is a senior, high-impact, customer-facing role responsible for driving the strategic success, retention, and expansion of Atropos Health’s Health System and Life Sciences relationships. Serving as the executive-facing, post-sale lead, this individual acts as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and health system stakeholders, ensuring measurable value realization from Atropos Health’s real-world evidence solutions.

This role owns the full customer lifecycle, from implementation through long-term growth, with accountability for renewal strategy, risk mitigation, and expansion planning. The Lead Client Success Manager proactively identifies opportunities to deepen platform adoption, introduce new use cases, and expand stakeholder engagement across a myriad of teams, including R&D, market access, medical affairs, and commercial teams.

Working cross-functionally with Clinical Insights, Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams, this individual translates complex analytical capabilities into strategic business impact. They lead executive business reviews, align customer objectives with quantifiable outcomes, and influence internal roadmap decisions by representing the voice of the customer.

The Lead Client Success Manager manages a dynamic, high-volume portfolio of enterprise accounts, balancing concurrent implementations, studies, executive engagements, and expansion initiatives while maintaining a high standard of strategic partnership. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, this individual must exercise strong prioritization and executive judgment to effectively navigate competing client demands, internal dependencies, and commercial objectives.

A successful Lead Client Success Manager combines scientific and analytical fluency with strong project management skills, commercial acumen, and executive presence. They are equally comfortable interpreting real-world data insights, shaping value narratives for senior stakeholders, and driving portfolio-level growth through strategic relationship management.

Responsibilities
  • Own the strategic success and commercial performance of a portfolio of Health System and Life Sciences partners, driving retention, net revenue expansion, and long-term value realization

  • Serve as the executive-facing strategic advisor, aligning Atropos Health’s analytics capabilities with customer clinical, operational, and commercial priorities

  • Lead renewal strategy and execution, proactively identifying risk, demonstrating measurable ROI, and partnering with Sales to secure multi-year renewals and expansion opportunities

  • Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell pathways by uncovering new use cases, stakeholders, and budget owners within existing accounts

  • Conduct executive business reviews that translate platform utilization, outcomes, and insights into quantified impact and forward-looking strategic plans

  • Manage a high-volume, complex portfolio of enterprise accounts, effectively prioritizing competing initiatives and balancing delivery excellence with strategic growth objectives.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Insights, Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment between customer needs and platform capabilities

  • Translate complex real-world evidence analyses into clear, actionable business insights tailored to technical and executive audiences

  • Represent the voice of the customer internally, influencing product roadmap decisions and go-to-market strategy through structured feedback and market insights

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MPH, MBA, MS, PhD, PharmD) preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, consulting, or healthcare analytics

  • Proven experience managing and growing relationships with enterprise health system and/or pharmaceutical/biotech customers

  • Demonstrated ownership of renewals and expansion within complex accounts

  • Experience working with real-world healthcare data (EMR, claims, etc.) and translating insights into business impact

  • Strong analytical skills; hands-on SQL experience preferred (R/Python a plus)

  • Experience operating in a startup or high-growth environment

  • Excellent executive-level communication and project management skills

Reporting

The Lead Client Success Manager reports to the VP, Client Success, Sarah Bauer.
