Databricks is one of the world’s fastest-growing data and AI companies—an industry leader transforming how organizations harness the power of their data. As we scale rapidly across the globe, we’re seeking an experienced, impact-driven Senior Organizational Development Architect.

This team takes on the highest-impact, hardest People challenges — the ones that directly affect how fast the company can grow, how well teams perform, and how leaders scale. These aren’t routine programs. They’re complex, company-wide efforts that need fresh thinking, tight execution, and real adoption — from defining the problem to aligning executives to making change stick across thousands of employees.

You will start by building a global strategy and solutions to uplevel our global interviewer capability, and help us drive hiring excellence. This role reports to the Head of Organizational Development, under our broader Talent Management org.

The Impact You’ll Have
  • Anchor Mission: Interviewer Enablement & Certification: You will own the global roadmap for how we certify and enable "Brickster" interviewers. You will design the certification approach, build multi-persona enablement assets, and create the tracking and feedback loops that ensure our hiring bar remains elite as we scale.
  • Strategic Partnership: You will act as a consultative "architect" for our senior leaders and People Partners, moving beyond program management to diagnosis our hardest problems and designing org-wide solutions at scale.
  • Career Framework Architecture: Design and build success profiles and career ladders that define the key capabilities for our most critical roles, ensuring they are built for a high-growth, AI-first future.
  • Upleveling Hiring Process & Assessment : Partner with Talent Acquisition to embed success profiles into our hiring workflows, transforming how we assess talent and ensuring our interview process is a competitive advantage.
  • AI-Driven Org Design: Lead the "Future of Work" conversation with the business. Analyze how AI is shifting roles and workflows, and design org structures that optimize for human-AI collaboration and maximum productivity.
About You
  • Experience: 12–15+ years of experience, likely from a top management consulting firm or a hyper-growth tech environment where you have built programs from scratch.
  • Consultative & Curious: You operate with a “business-first mindset” - what problem are we trying to solve for the company? You’re eager to understand Databricks’ technology, customer value prop, culture, and the problem at hand to build solutions that are right for Databricks rather than defaulting to previous playbooks.
  • Complex Problem Solver: You think from first principles - seeking to deeply understand and diagnose the problem you’re trying to solve. You have a proven ability to deconstruct it into a structured, multi-quarter roadmap that materially impacts a global function or region.
  • Strategic Influencer: You can effectively influence VPs and SVPs, using a combination of your knowledge of our business and data. You routinely drive alignment across complex, cross-functional stakeholder groups to deliver the right solutions. Your key partners include: business leaders, Talent Acquisition, People Partners, Strategy & Finance teams.
  • AI-Builder Mindset: You are deeply curious about how AI is fundamentally changing job descriptions and organizational structures. You not only use data and AI tools to accelerate your own thinking and execution - but architect AI-first solutions for the business.
  • Execution: You bring a programmatic approach to driving adoption of your solutions as scale (1,000s of Bricksters). You can turn your understanding of the problem into strong program design, a robust change and enablement plan, and own the measurement strategy to show that your programs are truly making an impact
  • HR Domain Expertise: You have a broad and deep background in one or more of the following domain areas: Org Development, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition. You are highly aware of industry changes and can translate that into a strategy that makes sense for Databricks.
