  • Lead mobile-focused discovery and research to deeply understand how small business owners manage their work away from the desk, synthesizing insights into actionable artifacts.
  • Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to explore and leverage mobile-specific technologies, shaping not just how features look, but why and when they should exist on mobile.
  • Advocate for mobile-first thinking by ensuring solutions are intuitive, platform-compliant, and thoughtfully aligned with real user workflows.
  • Serve as a mobile subject matter expert across teams, collaborating to ensure features are designed with mobile constraints and opportunities in mind from day one.

  • Facilitate strong cross-functional alignment by translating technical constraints into design opportunities and proactively addressing misalignments.

What You'll Bring
  • A compelling portfolio demonstrating deep experience designing cross-platform mobile products that have successfully scaled.
  • A nuanced understanding of mobile interaction best practices, with fluency in both iOS and Android Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Mastery of Figma, including building and maintaining high-quality designs within complex component libraries.
  • Experience leading and synthesizing user research, with a strong ability to uncover the “why” behind user behavior.
  • Strong systems thinking, ensuring design patterns remain coherent, scalable, and consistent across platforms and devices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to Product and Engineering partners.
  • The ability to work independently and proactively while staying closely aligned with cross-functional stakeholders.

You'll Stand Out If You Have
  • Experience working with or designing for React Native, with an understanding of its capabilities and constraints.
  • Experience designing B2B SaaS or FinTech products.
  • A track record of contributing to cross-platform mobile products that have scaled within complex product ecosystems.

We encourage candidates to apply, even if they do not meet all the requirements. We are open to considering applicants at a different level and will explore opportunities for internal matching to a product designer role that aligns with their skills and experience.
