About your role:
We’re seeking a Lead Product Designer to elevate the quality, strategy, and impact of product design across Givelify’s mobile and web experiences. You’ll drive design excellence, guide cross-functional alignment, and shape end-to-end product vision—from discovery through delivery. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on design leadership with systems-level thinking to create simple, inspiring, and scalable product experiences for our giving community.
The Creative Team:
Givelify’s Creative Team produces the experiences that wow our audiences and users. We consistently deliver world-class design and creativity across the entire business, serving our customers in collaboration with product, technology, marketing, support, and operations. This role reports to the Director of Product Design.
The Lead Product Designer will get to:
- Drive Product Design Initiatives
Lead design initiatives, imagine novel solutions, and guide cross-functional teams toward cohesive product outcomes. You move fluidly across the entire design process—from problem framing to high-fidelity prototypes—and elevate complexity into elegant simplicity. You know great design is invisible because it works effortlessly for our giving community.
- Own End-to-End Design Execution
Ensure successful delivery of product experiences by driving all phases of design work. From discovery and solution ideation to refined interfaces and engineering handoff, you set the standard for quality, clarity, and completeness.
- Optimize Design Operations s & Efficiency
Maximize throughput and design velocity by shaping and owning design operations for your scope of work. You establish structure, anticipate needs, remove friction, and scale effective design practices across teams.
- Quality Elevation & Feedback Culture
Continuously raise the bar for design excellence by soliciting, synthesizing, and acting on feedback from stakeholders. You model a culture of “feedback is fuel” and know how to extract value from different points-of-view to arrive at quality—strengthening both the work and the team behind it.
To be successful in this role, you’ll also:
- Apply Human-Centered Design for Major Initiatives
Shape end-to-end product experiences by driving cross-functional conversations, orchestrating user flows, and guiding teams from concept through launch with a deeply human-centered approach.
- Lead Cross-Functional Alignment
Collaborate strategically with Product, Engineering, and senior cross-functional leaders to influence priorities, illuminate trade-offs, and ensure every touchpoint reflects Givelify’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Drive Insight-Informed Decision Making
Embed a deep understanding of Givelify’s audiences and business strategy into design decisions, representing the customer perspective at all times to guide product direction and elevate design quality.
- Advance the Design System & Standards
Drive growth and adoption of the Givelify Design System—ensuring scalable, consistent, and brand-aligned experiences across platforms while coaching teams on best practices.

Your experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working on a native mobile apps team
- 5+ years of B2C native mobile app experience
- Expert-level proficiency of Adobe CC suite, Sketch, Figma, and/or other industry-standard creative tools
- A portfolio highlighting some of your best work (please include password)
- Prototyping: Lofi and Hifi prototypes, you know when to use one over the other and embrace an iterative process.
- Languages: English; Spanish a plus
- Communication: You can articulate what makes a good vs great design, as well as articulate your design point of view.
- Problem solver who requires very little guidance on projects; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert-level applied understanding of formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, and proportion.
- (Bonus) Research: You are familiar with front-end research (light ethnography) and/or able to facilitate user testing sessions to validate your designs with users.
- (Bonus): Remote: Experience working with remote teams.
