About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to lead our Targeting product area within the Shopper Management pillar. Targeting is at the core of how marketers connect with their customers—helping brands determine who should receive each message and ensuring every campaign reaches the right audience.

In this role, you'll own the strategy and execution for the targeting experiences our customers use every day. From our segmentation and audience-building tools to intelligent recommendations that help marketers reach the highest-value shoppers, you'll build products that make sophisticated targeting simple, powerful, and effective.

This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of customer experience, data, and platform capabilities. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Customer Success to solve complex problems around audience selection, personalization, and customer insights. Success requires strong product intuition, exceptional customer empathy, and the ability to turn rich data into intuitive customer-facing experiences.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Attentive's Targeting product area within the Shopper Management pillar.
  • Build customer-facing experiences that help marketers create high-performing audiences with confidence, whether through advanced segmentation, recommendations, or intelligent targeting workflows.
  • Partner closely with customers and customer-facing teams to deeply understand how marketers build audiences today and identify opportunities to simplify complex workflows.
  • Drive product discovery by combining customer research, behavioral data, and business insights to identify high-impact opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Platform teams to deliver scalable targeting capabilities that power best-in-class personalization.
  • Balance usability with flexibility, enabling customers to build sophisticated audiences without unnecessary complexity.
  • Define success metrics, measure product impact, and continuously optimize experiences using experimentation and data.
  • Act as a product leader across the organization, influencing strategy and helping teams understand the evolution of Attentive's targeting capabilities.

Your Expertise

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience, with a track record of owning customer-facing products from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Experience building products in MarTech, AdTech, customer data platforms (CDPs), personalization, targeting, audience management, segmentation, or related domains.
  • Strong product intuition paired with deep analytical thinking—you enjoy using data to uncover customer problems and validate product decisions.
  • Experience building customer-facing tools that simplify complex workflows while maintaining flexibility for sophisticated users.
  • High customer empathy and a passion for understanding how customers make decisions and accomplish their goals.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and partnering closely with Data Science and Engineering teams to bring data-driven products to life.
  • Hands-on experience using SQL or similar tools to explore data and inform product decisions; familiarity with analytics platforms such as Looker, Heap, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

You'll get competitive perks and benefits, from health & wellness to equity, to help you bring your best self to work.
