About Us

At MAI (pronounced “my”), we're on a mission to democratize advanced advertising technology. We believe that cutting-edge marketing tools, once exclusive to large enterprises with massive budgets, should be accessible to everyone. Our platform uses AI agents to automate and optimize performance marketing, empowering small and mid-sized businesses to scale their ad spend profitably without the need for an agency or endless hours of manual campaign management.

Founded by ad platform veterans from Google and Instacart, we've successfully raised a $25 million Seed funding round led by Kleiner Perkins to accelerate our growth. This capital will be used to expand our product and engineering teams, bringing our vision of intelligent, autonomous marketing to life. Our AI agents have already proven their value, helping clients drive 40% more sales and managing millions in monthly Google Ads spend. Our client waitlist is growing by the day and we couldn’t be more excited about building the future of growth marketing.

Why Join Now

While traditional product management focuses on feature roadmaps, building the platform for autonomous, intelligent agents is a new frontier—and we’re writing the operating manual.

As a Product Manager, you won't just be defining user stories; you'll be the chief architect of the core intelligence that drives our entire product. You will have a profound impact on our entire technical stack, from the foundational data platforms that feed our agents, to the core agentic frameworks that allow them to reason and plan, to the predictive modeling systems that determine our customers' success. This is a rare opportunity to build a truly AI-native product from the ground up and solve the most challenging problems at the forefront of the AdTech industry.

You'll be a strategic partner to the CTO and a foundational member of a small, focused team. You will have immense ownership and the ability to shape the future of our product and technical organization.

You'll have the unique chance to learn and grow your skillset as these teams evolve. We encourage you to lean on your specializations in ML and data while taking on new strategic challenges, learning from your peers, and becoming a more well-rounded product expert.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and own the long-term technical vision and roadmap for MAI’s core optimization algorithms, predictive models, and machine learning infrastructure.

  • Collaborate closely with Data Science and Engineering teams to translate complex algorithms and deep technical requirements into detailed product specifications, prioritized sprints, and measurable success metrics.

  • Specify the requirements for ingesting, transforming, and harmonizing massive, disparate datasets (Google Ads, GA4, Shopify/CRM) to ensure data quality, fidelity, and low-latency processing for our AI agents.

  • Serve as the product expert on all technical platform decisions, scalability challenges, and core technology investments. Present technical product reviews and performance metrics to the executive team.

  • Lead the internal and external communication strategy for new AI-driven capabilities, ensuring that the business value (e.g., improved ROAS, predictive accuracy) is clearly articulated to Sales, Customer Success, and our clients.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2+ years managing AI/ML-centric platforms or products (e.g., Algorithmic Bidding, Recommendation Systems, Forecasting Tools).

  • Technical Acumen: Deep, verifiable understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data engineering principles. You must be comfortable debating model architectures, discussing feature engineering, and defining API contracts with senior engineers.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is highly preferred.

  • Prior experience in AdTech, MarTech, or E-commerce, with familiarity with platforms like Google Ads or programmatic advertising, is a significant advantage.

  • Proven experience in leading product lines, managing technical backlogs, and synthesizing complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business strategies for non-technical leadership.

Why You’ll Love Working at MAI
  • Unparalleled Learning: You'll be at the forefront of AI engineering, solving novel challenges in building scalable, reliable systems for autonomous agents and LLMs.

  • High Impact: As an early member of a lean and powerful team, your work will directly shape our core platform, our culture, and the success of our customers.

  • A Culture of Curiosity: We're a tight-knit team of passionate builders who value transparency, first-principles thinking, and a relentless drive to solve hard problems together.

  • Ownership: We believe in empowering our team. You'll have autonomy over your work with mentorship support from an assigned team member.

Compensation and Benefits:

We're offering a stake in our success and a commitment to your well-being. Our total compensation package is designed to support you, both professionally and personally:

  • Salary: A base salary range of $160,000 to $200,000.

  • Equity: We want you to feel invested in our mission, which is why we offer meaningful equity.

  • Health and Wellness: Our medical, dental and vision coverage is designed to take care of you and your family.

  • 401(k): We'll help you build for your future with a competitive 401(k) program.

Are you ready to build the future with us? We believe in a holistic approach to hiring. If you're passionate about our mission and have a drive to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value potential, curiosity, and hunger. We can't wait to hear from you.
