The Lead Product Manager conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Lead Product Manager role within our Clinical program is accountable for defining capabilities within our Epic platform to meet the needs of our Clinical end users. This role will focus on defining capabilities that are necessary for the launch of new Medicaid state contracts as well as ongoing, compliance-centric enhancements for our existing Medicaid markets. Once products are launched, the Lead Product Manager will monitor the efficacy of products and incorporate end user feedback to ensure products are meeting our user needs and will adjust products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. They will advise Operational leaders in developing functional strategies (often market specific) on matters of significance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with our Operational teams to define Epic capabilities that meet the needs of our end users
- Continuously gather actionable data and end user feedback that will inform the product roadmap
- Collaborate with our team of Epic config analysts to implement any necessary enhancements for our end users
- Partner with our process and training teams to ensure smooth product rollouts and effective user training
- Support testing and workflow demos
- Build strong relationships and influence across all levels of the organization to drive the standardization of capabilities used across Medicare and Medicaid
- Assist in defining any remaining critical capabilities that are necessary for our Legacy system, and work with in-house dev teams for implementation

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of Clinical experience
- 2+ years of Product Management experience
- Strong customer/end user orientation, with a data driven approach to decision making
- Comfortable working independently and communicating through multiple levels in the organization
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment; be nimble and adaptable, handle ambiguity
- Strong ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity
- Passionate about improving the U.S. healthcare system and eager to tackle complex but important, clinical and administrative challenges
- Solid track record managing products that achieved successful financial outcomes
- Epic certification in Tapestry, or willingness to obtain Humana-sponsored certification within 6 months of employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Healthcare, care coordination, clinical workflow management, clinical programs, or value-based care
- Epic platform implementation experience
