The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the MCT Planning and Project Management team, you will play a critical role in driving structure, execution, and accountability across complex, cross-functional initiatives. You will act as an owner partnering closely with technology leads, area leads, product owners, and senior stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable delivery plans. In this role, you will independently organize work, establish milestones, manage interdependencies, and keep teams aligned against shared objectives in a fast‑moving environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong delivery mindset, confidently facilitates discussions across technical and business teams, and is comfortable engaging vocal, senior stakeholders with clarity and presence. Success requires the ability to drive execution with limited handholding, create structure where needed, proactively identify and mitigate risks early, and communicate effectively to leadership on progress, issues, and decisions. While a technical background is highly valued, the most important qualities are ownership, planning discipline, accountability, and the ability to move teams forward.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end planning and execution framework for complex projects, ensuring initiatives are structured, tracked, and delivered against agreed milestones and business priorities
  • Partner with technology leads, engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into high-level project plans with clear dependencies, deliverables, and accountability
  • Drive day-to-day project execution across multiple concurrent initiatives by establishing routines, maintaining momentum, and ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and accountable
  • Lead cross-functional discussions across infrastructure, development, and business teams to resolve blockers, clarify priorities, and maintain forward progress
  • Build and maintain project structures and artifacts including project plans, status updates, milestones, dashboards, RAID logs, and executive-ready communications
  • Proactively identify delivery risks, estimate potential impacts early, and implement mitigation plans while escalating effectively to leadership when needed
  • Establish and reinforce strong planning discipline across teams, including the use of tools such as Jira to support execution hygiene, transparency, and progress tracking
  • Define, manage, and monitor cross-team dependencies and ensure ownership is clear across all contributors through structured delivery practices such as RACI-based accountability
  • Provide regular project status updates to sponsors and senior leadership, highlighting progress, decisions needed, risks, mitigations, and overall delivery health
  • Support iterative planning and modern delivery practices, while balancing agile execution with critical business deadlines and milestones
  • Lead change management activities where required and ensure teams are prepared to execute through changing priorities and evolving project scope
  • Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk appropriately and escalate when necessary

**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of related experience in project or program management
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in technical environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, execution discipline, and stakeholder alignment

Talents Needed for Success:

  • Strong ownership mentality with the ability to take direction, build a plan, and drive execution with minimal oversight
  • Confident communicator who can speak up, challenge constructively, and operate effectively with senior leaders and strong personalities
  • Demonstrated strength in project planning, dependency management, risk identification, and proactive mitigation
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and drive clarity across cross-functional squads
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading routines, discussions, and execution forums across technical and business teams
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira to improve planning discipline, visibility, and delivery rigor
  • Comfort operating in hybrid project environments, including delivery leadership, coordination, and where needed, support for agile execution practices
  • Technical background or technical fluency is strongly preferred; however, strong project leadership, presence, and execution capability are most critica
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for executive and technical audiences
  • Ability to manage 1–3 or more concurrent initiatives while maintaining accountability, momentum, and high-quality delivery outcomes
