Role Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Technology Solution Architect to serve as a senior technical leader within our Marketing Technology and CRM ecosystem. This role will contribute to the architecture, design, and strategic evolution of Salesforce Marketing platforms, partnering closely with Marketing, CRM, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-impact marketing solutions.

This role blends hands-on technical leadership, platform strategy, and cross-functional enablement, ensuring our marketing technology stack supports both current execution and future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Act as the solution architect and technical authority for Salesforce Marketing platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related CRM integrations.
  • Design and govern end-to-end marketing technology architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Lead technical decision-making for platform enhancements, integrations, and modernization initiatives across marketing and CRM systems.

Salesforce Marketing Platform Ownership

  • Own the implementation, configuration, and optimization (as aligned with key business stakeholders) of Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities (features, integrations, and APIs).
  • Partner with CRM and data teams to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce CRM, marketing platforms, and downstream analytics.
  • Provide architectural guidance for adoption of Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud Next, including identity resolution, segmentation, and activation use cases (preferred).

Cross‑Functional Partnership & Enablement

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders, clearly communicating tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations.
  • Support platform enablement through documentation, design standards, and technical training material, helping teams adopt best practices effectively.

Delivery, Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Advise and support complex marketing technology initiatives from design through delivery, ensuring quality and on-time execution.
  • Establish and enforce governance, architectural patterns, and development standards across marketing technology solutions.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and industry trends, proactively recommending innovations that improve efficiency, personalization, and customer experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud required), Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud Next preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Engineer, or Principal-level technical contributor in marketing or CRM technology.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, customer journeys, data integration, and personalization at scale.
  • Experience designing and integrating solutions across Salesforce CRM and enterprise data ecosystems.
  • Ability to lead through influence, partnering effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • At least 5 recent years’ experience with Salesforce Marketing Automation platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud Next.
  • Salesforce certifications (Marketing Cloud Consultant, Architect, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale marketing transformations or roadmap-driven platform evolution.
  • Background in MarTech governance, platform strategy, and enablement.

Why This Role Matters

This role is critical to ensuring our marketing technology platforms are future-ready, well-architected, and capable of supporting sophisticated, data-driven marketing strategies.
