Job Description

The Lead Strategic Communications Specialist is the "Voice of OCI." This role manages the complex task of communicating technical and clinical transformations to a disenfranchised or overwhelmed workforce, ensuring that the value of the Federal EHR is clearly understood.

Detailed Scope of Work & PWS Alignment:

  • Comprehensive Communications Strategy: Develop and maintain an executive-level communications plan. Define key messages, themes, channels, and target audiences for OCI initiatives.
  • Multimedia Product Oversight: Oversee the design and delivery of digital, print, and multimedia products. Ensure all communications reflect the organization’s values, tone, and visual identity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership: Develop strategies for stakeholder engagement, including town halls, podcasts, and office hours. Translate complex technical topics into accessible language.
  • Knowledge Repository Management: Manage a centralized knowledge repository to support stakeholder communication and clinical requirement definition.

Qualifications

Advanced Technical Proficiencies:

  • Writing: Mastery of Associated Press (AP) style and narrative storytelling.
  • Tools: Expert in MS Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and SharePoint.
  • Strategy: Deep understanding of change leadership and organizational communication.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience: 10 years total (8 years in senior communications management).

  • Remote 

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100% employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
