About Lean In & SGBFF

The Sandberg Goldberg Bernthal Family Foundation (SGBFF) works to build a more equal and resilient world. We bring people together through four initiatives: LeanIn.Org, LeanInGirls.Org, OptionB.Org, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program.

Through community, research-based content, and programs, we help women and allies build the skills, confidence, and networks they need to reach their full potential. We believe a more equal world is possible — and that it will take all of us working together to create it.

About Lean In Girls

At Lean In Girls, we start early – because confidence gaps start early. By middle school, many girls are already holding back. We’re working to change that with a research-backed program that builds confidence, leadership skills, and community.

We are growing quickly – and we need someone who can help us scale our impact.

The Role

    This is a builder role.

  • You will lead partnerships that enable Lean In Girls to reach more girls, more efficiently. You’ll identify where we can grow, build strong relationships, and turn opportunities into impact.

  • You’ll work across schools, youth organizations, NGOs, digital education platforms, sports leagues, and parent communities – always with one clear goal in mind: how do we reach and equip more girls to lead, at scale?

  • This is a highly independent role. You’ll need to prioritize well, move quickly, and stay focused on the work that drives the greatest reach and impact.

What You’ll Do

  • You will build and grow a high-impact partnership portfolio—identifying the right partners, closing deals, and ensuring those partnerships drive real reach.

  • You will look for ways to scale—especially through digital channels—so we can reach millions of girls, not thousands.

  • You will help us reach parents and equip them to support their daughters’ leadership.

  • You will partner with our product team to build awareness and demand for Lean In Girls.

  • You will work closely with our content team to evolve the program based on partner feedback and keep it relevant and fresh.

  • You will help shape how Lean In Girls shows up in the broader conversation about girls and leadership.

  • And you will execute with discipline—tracking progress, managing the pipeline, and building systems that make our work more effective over time.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of partnership development and relationship management experience

  • You have experience building and closing partnerships – and a track record of delivering results.

  • You know how to focus on what drives the greatest impact, not just what feels urgent.

  • You build trust quickly and sustain relationships over time.

  • You look for ways to scale – automating, simplifying, and improving how things work.

  • You communicate clearly and confidently with different audiences.

  • You are comfortable owning your work and moving forward independently.

  • Comfort with using a CRM platform to manage your workflow

  • You are equally confident in setting strategy and executing the day-to-day details needed to bring it to life.

  • Most importantly, you care deeply about helping girls lead.

Why This Role Matters

  • This is an opportunity to take a program that is already working—and help it reach far more girls.

  • You will have real ownership and real impact.

  • And you will be part of a team working toward a more equal future.

What we can offer

  • Base Salary: $140,000 – $175,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications

  • Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of base salary annually

  • Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) with a 4% employer match

  • Generous paid time off

  • Additional benefits designed to support well-being and long-term success

  • Work Location: We believe in the power of in-person collaboration. This role is based in San Francisco, with a hybrid schedule of three days in office per week (currently Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) and remote flexibility on other days, beginning September 2026.

The Sandberg Goldberg Bernthal Family Foundation is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity without regard to age, race, ethnicity, gender, protected veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion. It’s important to us that people of all identities and backgrounds see themselves represented and included in our work, so we actively encourage people of all identities and experiences to apply.
