Job Description:

We’re looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager of Design that is responsible for leading and developing a team of Specialists to design performance-driven learning solutions. They are accountable for L&D workflow management and ensuring overall solution quality, as well as ensuring the effectiveness of training programs and updating them as necessary

What You’ll Do:

  • Prioritize and organize the design and development of all leadership, operational, technical training and performance support initiatives, including Train-the-Trainer support as required
  • Oversee and/or conduct the development of tools and processes to evaluate and assess the delivery and effectiveness of all solutions
  • Contribute to the L&D Management team to leverage learning solutions, while ensuring alignment to business priorities and preventing duplication
  • Lead special projects, through subject matter experts and/or client group
  • Ensure all solutions support TJX Canada’s culture, Leadership Competencies and Cultural Factors, applicable operating procedures and compliance requirements
  • Facilitate training programs for multiple levels of management, as required

About You:

  • Seven (7) years or more’ experience in Learning & Development, specifically leading teams and designing management and leadership development programs, OR equivalent Human Resources experience
  • Experienced and/or certified in instructional design, facilitation and adult learning principles
  • Strong leadership skills, with focus on coaching, mentoring and active listening. Strong team orientation with focus on team success. Willing and able to support other team members
  • Strong project and time management skills, with proven ability to lead many projects and teams concurrently
  • Passion and strong belief in continuous learning

Salary Range: $ 89,208.00-$135,086.40 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
