  • Determine the most effective learning modalities for each solution — including eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), blended learning, simulation, microlearning, and spaced learning — based on audience needs and business goals.
  • Leverage Covetrus’ enterprise ChatGPT platform and other AI-enabled tools to rapidly design effective, scalable learning solutions, applying ethical use, sound judgment, and critical thinking to ensure accuracy, inclusivity, and business alignment.

  • Provide weekly status updates to the L&D leader summarizing project progress, potential risks, and key accomplishments.
  • Apply adult learning theory, cognitive science, and user experience (UX) principles to create impactful, learner-centric solutions.
  • Design for inclusiveness and accessibility, ensuring all experiences meet ADA/Section 508 compliance standards.

Content Development & Delivery

  • Develop content using modern learning technologies and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Kahoot, Heygen, Litmos, etc.).
  • Collaborate with team members to design instructor materials, participant guides, and supporting assets.
  • Incorporate storytelling, real-world scenarios, and practice opportunities into designs to maximize engagement and retention.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables meet quality, timeline, and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with LMS Administration teams to publish, test, and maintain content within the learning ecosystem.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define success metrics and learning evaluation strategies (Kirkpatrick Levels 1–4) in collaboration with the Learning Strategist.
  • Collect and analyze feedback and performance data to iterate and continuously improve learning experiences.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, learning technology advancements, and emerging modalities such as AI-driven learning, adaptive content, and immersive simulations.

Collaboration & Partnership

  • Work cross-functionally with Learning Strategists, SMEs, Operations, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Participate in project kickoffs, design sprints, and agile review cycles as part of the broader L&D process.
  • Provide consultation and support to SMEs and leaders on effective learning design principles.
  • Demonstrates a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and a willingness to wear multiple hats to ensure team and business success.

Required Knowledge and Skills
