In response to our continued growth in North America and Latin America, we are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our global Legal Team. 

What we need you to do and be 

As Legal Counsel, you will be a trusted advisor to our North American and Latin American business teams, supporting a wide range of legal matters in a fast-growing, international software company. 

• You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, partner, and vendor contracts.
• You will advise on employment law matters in collaboration with People and business leaders.
• You will provide guidance on regulatory and compliance topics relevant to our SaaS (Software as a Service) business.
• You will support the business in Latin America, including reviewing and negotiating agreements in Spanish where applicable.
• You will collaborate closely with colleagues across different business functions to enable smart, practical decision-making. 

What you’ll bring to the table

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• At least 3+ years of relevant legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm, with exposure to commercial contracting.
• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance matters relevant to technology / software business.
• Ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail.
• Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy.
• Fluent in written and spoken English. 

As a bonus, we consider: 

• Professional working proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil).
• Experience supporting operations in Latin America.
• Experience in a SaaS or technology company. 
• Must reside in U.S. Eastern or Central Time Zone.
