We are looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel. This role is focused on leading contract negotiations and managing external partner communication, ensuring agreements are efficiently closed while protecting the company’s interests.

You will act as the primary legal representative in partner discussions, driving negotiations, maintaining high communication standards, and balancing legal risk with business needs.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys negotiation, ownership, and deal-making, and prefers being directly involved in closing agreements rather than only drafting documents.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Negotiation and Deal Execution

  • Lead contract negotiations with partners and vendors from initial discussions through execution

  • Drive discussions on commercial terms, legal provisions, and risk allocation

  • Take ownership of agreements, identify risks, and propose practical solutions that support business objectives

  • Ensure negotiations progress efficiently and agreements are closed in a timely manner

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to align legal and business priorities

  • Work closely with the legal team to define negotiation strategies and support agreement execution

  • Over time, take ownership of the legal function and team leadership responsibilities

Legal Advisory

  • Provide practical legal guidance on commercial partnerships, digital products, and business operations

  • Support deal structuring across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments

Process Improvement

  • Improve legal workflows, negotiation practices, and partner-facing communication standards

  • Establish scalable approaches to contract management, negotiation tracking, and stakeholder coordination

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience in commercial law, preferably within technology, digital, SaaS, fintech, gaming, or product companies

  • Proven experience leading commercial contract negotiations end-to-end

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives and drive agreements to completion

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

  • Comfortable working in international and cross-border environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with international contracts, cross-border negotiations, or complex commercial agreements

  • Experience in gaming, fintech, SaaS, or digital platforms

  • Background in litigation or dispute resolution

  • Legal qualification (bar admission is a plus)
