Company Overview

Sidecar Legal is building an AI Associate for litigators at small law firms (“claude code” for lawyers). Our mission is to help lawyers grow their businesses by unlocking the 10x attorney within, making our litigators 10x better in both quality + quantity. We’re backed by SPC and Pear Capital.

We’re hiring a legal associate to configure the product for customers we are onboarding, quality check Sidecar drafted documents, and provide input into product direction and feedback around how to make the product better. We are open to an intern who is at least a 2L, or a recent grad.

Who you are
  • You’re a fast learner & want to grow. You recognize and are excited that technology is changing rapidly, and like adapting to the “latest and greatest”. You’re excited to grow your own skillset, and like getting feedback and learning from world class engineers and product leaders. You perhaps even want to found your own company someday.

  • You’re high agency, and are excited about being on a small, high performing team. You’re comfortable asking questions when you’re blocked, and don’t need prescriptive instructions on what to do. You’re comfortable doing your own research and making independent decisions where you can.

  • You like moving fast. You are comfortable with making pragmatic decisions with imperfect information, and learning from contact with reality. You’re comfortable with rapidly evolving codebase where the roadmap may evolve rapidly on even a week to week basis.

Who we are

About us:

  • We’re a small, fast-moving team of 7 with a passion for shipping fast and problem-solving.

  • We care more about initiative, judgment, and integrity than about rules.

  • We value velocity, craft, and ownership.

  • We are a funded company backed by SPC and Pear Capital.
