We are actively recruiting for a Legal Recruiting Coordinator to work directly with the Legal Recruiting team and Hiring Partners to support various aspects of the Firm's legal recruiting programs.  The Legal Recruiting Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day execution of recruiting activities, provides thoughtful input on hiring processes, and supports the development of junior recruiting staff.  If you excel in a fast-paced, dynamic department and possess a high standard of excellence, we encourage you to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinates multiple components of the Firm’s legal hiring programs with a focus on 1L and 2L hiring;
  • Reviews in-bound resumes, identifies strong candidates for the Hiring Partners and coordinates appropriate responses;
  • Oversees logistics for assigned schools, including interview programming, callback meetings, and correspondence with applicants post introductory interviews;
  • Schedules and organizes applicant callback interviews and provides input to Hiring Partners regarding offer decisions;
  • Tracks and coordinates outreach and engagement efforts for return clerks, including external events, partner outreach, ongoing follow-up and preparation of offer letters through the hand-off to the Legal Talent onboarding team;
  • Coordinates and supports the recruitment and hiring of experienced attorneys across the Firm’s New York, D.C. and London offices;
  • Produces ad hoc reporting, as needed, for Hiring Partners and others;
  • Maintains updates related to legal careers on the Firm’s external website;
  • Maintains integrity of data within applicant tracking system;
  • Reviews and processes recruiting lawyer expenses;
  • Maintains monthly budget tracking and contributes to annual budget preparation;
  • Co-manages and coordinates law school pipeline programming, mock interviews, panels and events;
  • Develops and maintains candidate pipeline through proactive outreach and ongoing relationship management with prospective applicants;
  • Interfaces regularly with law school students, Firm attorneys and professional staff;
  • Liaises with the Events team on recruiting events; coordinates logistics with law schools and attends various events;
  • Tests and evaluates recruiting technology tools and platforms, and recommends process and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience;
  • Coordinates the preparation of annual hiring goals and post-mortem materials;
  • With awareness and understanding of various Firm policies and guidelines, fields questions and proposes responses based on precedent;
  • Trains and supports junior legal recruiting team members;
  • Supports the onboarding and orientation of summer associates and coordinates other summer program processes;
  • Serves as a Summer Associate Liaison, including conducting exit interviews and attending events;
  • Participates in legal recruiting industry organizations and events and stays current with market developments and practices; and
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • At least 4-6 years of applicable experience in a service industry firm;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to successfully work and interact with attorneys and staff at all levels;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and interpret recruiting data and metrics;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment with changing priorities and competing deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn, use and drive developments of various legal talent and recruiting applications;
  • Superior judgment and ability to deal discreetly with confidential information; and
  • Ability to work additional hours, as needed, including during peak recruiting periods.

This position is located in our New York office, and currently has a hybrid work schedule, but that is subject to change. The hours for this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The estimated salary range for a Legal Recruiting Coordinator is $100,000 to $120,000.  The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and discretionary bonus(es), we offer a generous employee benefits package including, but not limited to, paid time off, medical, dental, vision care, 401(k) and substantial health club discounts.
