Your Impact
The Legal Value Architect is a trusted advisor to partners at top-tier law firms and general counsels at major corporations. They bring litigation and eDiscovery domain expertise to DISCO's sales organization. They will lead operational discoveries, co-design financial business cases, and prove how DISCO’s technology directly improves law firm profitability and corporate efficiency. Their expertise directly informs DISCO's product feedback, marketing strategy, and sales execution.

What You'll Do

  • Peer-to-Peer Diagnostics : Partner with senior enterprise sales directors to lead business level discoveries with firm partners and corporate legal executives
  • Language of Value: Translate day-to-day litigation and eDiscovery pain points - including document review bottlenecks, deposition preparation overhead, and data hosting costs - into concrete operational efficiency and profitability models
  • Business Case Creation: Architect and co-author custom strategic business cases for DISCO's largest most complex transactions, setting the standard and methodology used company-wide
  • Industry Playbooks: Design repeatable industry playbooks that help law firms restructure litigation service delivery models using DISCO’s platform
  • Strategic Client Partnership:  Serve as a credible subject-matter voice in client-facing meetings, using domain experience to build trust with litigation partners and general counsel and to constructively challenge status quo operating models
  • Cross Functional Strategy: Feed domain expertise and client insights back into product, marketing, and sales enablement to continuously sharpen DISCO's go-to-market approach

Who You Are

  • 5-7 years of experience practicing litigation or specializing in eDiscovery at an Am Law 100–200 
  • Deep working knowledge of litigation workflows, document review processes, and eDiscovery cost and staffing drivers
  • Ability to translate qualitative operational pain points into quantitative, defensible business cases
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with law firm partners and general counsel
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and building processes in a newer, evolving function
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across sales, product, and marketing teams

Even Better If You Have…

  • Prior experience in a value engineering, solutions consulting, or other business-facing role partnering with enterprise sales
  • Experience presenting to or advising senior stakeholders (partners, general counsel, CFOs) in a consultative capacity.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery or legal technology platforms, including DISCO or competitor solutions.

Authorization to Work in the U.S.: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. DISCO is not currently sponsoring visas, including, but not limited to, H-1B, TN, or EAD, and we are not accepting visa transfers.
