About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP. Our U.S. based team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

About the Role

As a Lifecycle Marketing Operations Associate at Solace, you'll be involved in every facet of communicating with our patients and advocates at the highest level. This encompasses day-to-day operations across lifecycle marketing, including tracking and executing cross-functional project workflows; developing and maintaining trackers, documentation, and calendars; coordinating stakeholder communication; and owning operational email requests from intake through launch.

This individual contributor role is for the ambitious, the curious and those who don't shy away from feedback. You will report directly to our Head of Lifecycle Marketing.

What You’ll Do
  • Translate strategy into execution. Partner closely with Product and cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into campaigns within Customer.io ranging from simple web hooks to highly complex email and SMS, multi-step workflows.

  • Build and optimize sophisticated campaigns. Own the end-to-end configuration of lifecycle campaigns, ensuring logic, triggers, segmentation, and messaging are implemented accurately, efficiently, and at scale.

  • Conduct flawless QA. Lead rigorous quality assurance processes for every campaign launch. Continuously refine and improve QA frameworks to reduce errors, increase speed to launch, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Serve as our Customer.io expert. Develop deep mastery of CIO’s full suite of capabilities, features, and functionalities. Stay current on new releases and best practices, and proactively recommend innovative use cases and enhancements to elevate our lifecycle marketing efforts.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues. Proactively investigate campaign failures, bugs, and performance gaps by digging into workflow logic, event triggers, and underlying data to identify root causes and implement durable fixes.

  • Master segmentation and logic. Develop advanced expertise in CIO’s logic, event structures, data flows, and dynamic segmentation to enable precise targeting and personalization.

  • Own deliverability and list health. Monitor overall email performance, deliverability, and audience health. Proactively propose new logic, data structures, and segmentation strategies to improve targeting, engagement, and overall campaign performance.

  • Support data and event accuracy. Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure events and user attributes are flowing correctly into Customer.io and are usable for segmentation and personalization. Flag gaps or inconsistencies in tracking that may impact campaign performance.

  • Maintain documentation. Help keep clear and organized documentation of campaign logic, workflows, naming conventions, segmentation rules, and QA checklists to ensure scalability and operational clarity.

What You Bring to the Table
  • A bias toward action and execution. You have an exceptional craving for momentum, and you thrive on timelines that would be unrealistic for most others.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a refined palate for controlled chaos.

  • Intuition on what it takes to create delightful, consumer-oriented experiences to not only acquire customers, but retain them.

  • Great communication skills that help you work across departments to make marketing visions come to life.

  • 2+ years of professional experience in consumer lifecycle, email, or other marketing roles

  • Project coordination or project management experience—especially in cross-functional environments involving marketing, product, data, or content stakeholders

  • Familiarity with email marketing tools or CRM platforms (we use Customer.io), and working with complex segmentation or personalization logic

  • Able to organize and work with performance data through experience pulling reports and metrics for tracking and analysis

  • Comfortable diving into the details and handling foundational work that ensures nothing slips through the cracks, so the team can operate efficiently and effectively

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and helping resolve issues early

  • Experience creating or evolving trackers, documentation systems, or project calendars to support operationally complex marketing programs

  • Understanding of personalization strategies in CRM programs, such as dynamic content blocks, conditional logic, Liquid, or lifecycle journey mapping

  • Familiarity with A/B testing and hypothesis-driven email experimentation

Applicants must be based in the United States.

We look forward to meeting you.
