nightlife, and immersive customer experiences. As our Live Sales and social commerce division
rapidly expand, we’re building a high-performing team focused on driving revenue, customer
engagement, conversion, and livestream growth across platforms including Whatnot and TikTok
Live.
Responsibilities
Position Overview
The Live Sales Auctioneer plays a critical role in driving sales performance, customer engagement, bidding activity, and livestream momentum during live shopping events. This position is responsible for monitoring show pacing, auction flow, audience interaction, pricing strategy, and conversion opportunities in real time while maintaining a high-energy customer
experience.
The ideal candidate understands the balance between entertainment and business performance, someone who can drive urgency, maximize sell-through, maintain audience retention, and support overall show profitability.
Responsibilities
● Lead live auction segments during livestream shopping events
● Drive customer engagement, bidding participation, and conversion throughout shows
● Maintain strong pacing and urgency to support revenue and sales goals
● Communicate pricing, promotions, markdowns, bundle opportunities, and auction timing
clearly and confidently
● Monitor audience engagement and adjust energy, pacing, and selling strategy in real
time
● Support sell-through strategies by identifying opportunities to move inventory efficiently
● Partner closely with Hosts, Curators, Prep, Fulfillment, and Production teams during
livestreams
● Help maximize KPI performance, including revenue, conversion, AOV, units sold, and
customer retention
● Adapt quickly to changing business needs, inventory flow, customer behavior, and show
direction
● Support livestream transitions and overall operational flow throughout programming
● Interact with customers through live chat engagement and audience participation
● Maintain a strong understanding of Dolls Kill product categories, trends, promotions, and brand voice
● Assist with social media content, promotional initiatives, and event activations as needed
Qualifications
● Strong communication and public speaking skills
● High-energy personality with confidence in fast-paced live environments
● Strong understanding of customer engagement and sales-driven communication
● Ability to multitask, think quickly, and maintain composure under pressure
● Experience in sales, retail, hosting, livestreaming, entertainment, auctioneering, or social
commerce preferred
● Comfortable speaking for extended periods during livestream programming
● Ability to monitor pacing, audience response, and conversion opportunities in real time
● Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and event-based programming
● Experience with Whatnot, TikTok Live, Shopify, livestream sales, or social commerce
platforms are a plus
