POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible for reviewing shipment materials before distributions, collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups and monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes.

LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK’s Texas Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

TYPE: Full Time; Hourly / Non-Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for scheduling outbound and inbound appointments
  • Responsible for creating outbound orders in DrinkPAK’s WMS and coordinating with the Forklift Drivers to ensure shipment accuracy and prioritization
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
  • Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
  • Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor each shipment to make sure outgoing packages are packed correctly and accurately
  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Tracking and fixing shipping errors
  • Preparing bill of ladings (BOLs)
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
  • Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
  • Interacts and maintains positive relationships with all levels of leadership
  • Accomplishes special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management
  • Compliant to all safety rules and regulations, GMP’s and all DrinkPak’s policies and procedures
  • Establishes and maintains high standards for quality, housekeeping and productivity
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma; Associate’s Degree+ preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Field or similar manufacturing / warehouse environment; 2+ years preferred
  • Forklift Certification preferred
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
  • Strong project management, time management, organization, and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to problem solve and cross check documentation
