About Us: We are seeking a high-impact Logistics Manager to own our end-to-end supply chain and freight operations. This isn't just a standard management role; you will lay the foundation of our global logistics framework while simultaneously rolling up your sleeves to ensure daily execution. You will manage everything from coordinating international shipments and negotiating with freight forwarders to generating shipping labels for our hardware products in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Shipment Execution: Coordinate shipments of finished goods, sub-assemblies, and parts domestically and internationally, working closely with Quartermaster's Contract Manufacturers (CMs).

  • Strategic & Hands-On Operations: Architect the company's long-term logistics strategy while remaining open to rolling up your sleeves to create shipping documents and shipping labels as operational volume demands.

  • Trade Compliance Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with the Trade Compliance Manager to ensure accurate HTS, ECCN, and other classifications are applied and adhere to import and export regulations.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage relationships with logistics integrators, including customs brokers, freight forwarders, express carrier operators, and trucking companies. Develop and maintain 3rd party logistics vendors' KPIs.

  • Proactive Tracking & Reporting: Keep track of shipment schedules, proactively inform stakeholders of delays, and maintain comprehensive logistics expense reports and transit times reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: 8+ years as a seasoned logistician, with specific experience working in a customs broker agency or freight forwarder agency with high exposure to international shipments.

  • Startup Mindset: Must have a proven track record of working in a very fast-paced environment and scaling operations from zero to one in a startup setting.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Demonstrated ability to partner with internal cross-functional leads and external global stakeholders, aligning multi-disciplinary teams around logistics priorities, lead times, and regulatory compliance.

  • Operational & Strategic Balance: Demonstrated ability to transition seamlessly between high-level supply chain strategy creation and tactical, hands-on document and process generation.

  • Tech Stack: We are a modern, agile company. Proficiency in Notion, Slack, and modern Project Management tools is required

  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of carrier operations, transit routes, and international shipping documentation required for hardware and electronics.

Why Join Us?

  • Work on impactful projects that enhance national and global security.

  • Collaborate with top-tier professionals in the defense and intelligence sectors.

  • Competitive salary, benefits, and career growth opportunities.

  • Opportunities for professional development and continued education.
