We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory and Logistics Specialist to join our team in Mountain View, CA. This hands-on role is key to ensuring efficient warehouse operations by managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the movement of materials across departments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision, and is eager to learn and adapt to new technologies that drives operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments, including purchase orders, inter-company transfers, and vendor deliveries. 
  • Prepare and pack outgoing shipments using carriers, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to inbound or outbound materials, including inventory mismatches and order issues.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts of stock items, identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in inventory records
  • Fulfill kit requests by pulling, organizing, and staging materials for delivery
  • Assist with truck loading and unloading to ensure efficient material flow
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to implement new tools, technologies, and processes that enhance warehouse operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to company safety standards and protocols

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required); experience in lieu of education
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics management role
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
  • Prior forklift experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Preferred Qualifications:  
    • Experience with warehouse operations, material handling systems, and transportation
      logistics
    • Experience getting exemption from API; lean cycle counting needed
    • Experience with supply material on a flow production line
    • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software; SAP preferred.
    • Experience with import/export compliance and regulations as well as with Lean or Six
      Sigma methodologies

The pay range listed below reflects the base salary in our SF/Silicon Valley location, across several internal levels. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors including: work location, experience, relevant training, education, skill level and performance during interview. Total compensation at Kodiak includes base pay, equity, bonus and a competitive benefits package
