Job Summary & Responsibilities

JT4 China Lake is seeking a highly organized logistics/supply specialist to provide logistical support to meet the requirements of multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS)  Programs for the United States government. This support includes overseeing transportation, procurement, documentation, coordination, and specialized site support for efforts on an island located 50+ miles offshore. The goal is to ensure the seamless and effective operation of government activities and foreign program coordination.  


JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

 

**An ideal candidate will have an active Secret clearance**

**This position is located at Point Mugu and is not eligible for telework**

Job Summary -- Essential Functions/Duties

Perform logistics/analyses support tasks within a logistics unit (ILS planning, maintenance planning, supply support, test and support equipment, packaging/handling/storage/transportation, personnel and training, facilities, data, computer resources, design interface) for systems, subsystems, and equipment.

Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:

  • Assist in logistics element analyses and studies
  • Assist in reviewing reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications, procedures, etc., and generating reports
  • Assist in preparing routine logistics correspondence
  • Assist with the entry and maintenance of logistics support data and documents in computer databases
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements -- Education, Technical, and Work Experience

An associate's degree in Business/Logistics or related field or the equivalent combination of formal training and related work experience.
 
In addition, a Logistics/Supply I must possess the following qualifications:
  • Good communication skills
  • Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
  • Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid state-issued driver's license
The expected salary range for this position is $75,420.80 to $90,420.80 annually.
 
Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4 considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market/business considerations when extending an offer.

Working Conditions

This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting to 50 pounds (anything heavier requires two or more people or mechanical assistance), constant sitting and use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills, be able to work under deadlines, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The incumbent must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands.

This position may require travel.
