Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human-level intelligence. Our robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA and requires 5 days/week of in-office collaboration.

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Class B CDL Driver to support daily transportation needs using a box truck and other company vehicles as needed. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials, equipment, and parts between company sites, vendors, and customers throughout the Bay Area and beyond. During downtime between driving assignments, this position will support warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, facilities, and general logistics operations. 

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, comfortable driving in a fast-paced environment, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team. This role is an 8 month term with potential for conversion. Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime or flexible hours based on business needs. Some weekends are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a Class B box truck and other company vehicles, including vans, pickup trucks, and smaller delivery vehicles as required
  • Perform local and regional deliveries, pickups, and part runs between company locations, suppliers, carriers, and customers
  • Transport materials between sites in Fremont, Menlo Park, Santa Clara, San Jose, Milpitas, and other Bay Area locations
  • Load, secure, and unload freight to ensure safe transport
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, inspection forms, and shipping paperwork
  • Coordinate with logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory, and operations teams regarding delivery schedules and priorities
  • Ensure all DOT, company, and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Assist with occasional after-hours, urgent, or “line down” deliveries as needed
Downtime / Non-Driving Responsibilities

When not actively driving, this role will support the operations team with:

  • Shipping and receiving activities
  • Loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments
  • Inventory counts and cycle counts
  • Pulling, staging, and delivering parts to internal teams
  • Organizing warehouse, storage, and inventory locations
  • Assisting with packaging, palletizing, labeling, and preparing shipments
  • Supporting facilities tasks such as moving equipment, organizing work areas, and maintaining cleanliness
  • Assisting with part requests, local errands, and general operations support
  • Updating spreadsheets, inventory systems, and delivery tracking information
  • Supporting special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle
  • Experience driving multiple vehicle types preferred
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Comfortable using smartphones, GPS, email, and basic computer systems
  • Able to work independently and manage changing priorities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with Bay Area roads, traffic patterns, and delivery locations preferred
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations
  • Experience with ERP, inventory, or shipping systems
  • Hazmat endorsement or experience transporting regulated materials is a plus
  • Experience supporting fast-paced manufacturing, technology, or operations environments

Pay Range: $35-$40

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits (including equity) depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
