Build and operate the automated, AI-powered systems that turn signals into pipeline: enrichment, scoring, routing, outbound activation, GTM integrations, attribution/reporting, and internal AI tooling. Partner with marketing, SDRs, and sales to ship production-grade workflows, LLM agents, and data plumbing that improve conversion and scale demand-gen operations.

Luminate is the entertainment industry’s preeminent data and insights partner, serving as the single source of truth for record labels, film studios, talent agencies, and every part of the music and entertainment ecosystem. By aggregating data from over 500 verified sources, Luminate provides customers with the objective validation needed to make critical business decisions and track global market share. While its data famously fuels the Billboard Charts and the Variety Streaming Originals Charts, Luminate’s primary mission is to empower the entertainment industry with essential, accurate and objective data.

Luminate is hiring a hands-on GTM Engineer to design and build the automated, AI-powered systems that turn signal into pipeline. You'll own the technical engine behind our go-to-market motion — the enrichment, scoring, routing, and outbound activation that make revenue generation repeatable, measurable, and scalable across our market segments.

This is a builder's role, not a campaign role. Creative and campaign strategy live elsewhere on the team; you are the execution layer that turns ideas into production systems. You'll work at the intersection of data, music, and entertainment, partnering closely with Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales to ship infrastructure that compounds in value over time.

This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and starts as an individual contributor. You won't be on an island: you'll have the backing of a collaborative Marketing, Sales, Sales Development (SDR), and Revenue Operations organization, direct access to leadership, and the budget, tooling, and cross-functional partners to deliver. You'll translate their needs into the systems that move pipeline — with the resources and support to ship at pace.

What you'll do

  • Build the signal-to-pipeline engine. Design and ship the automated workflows, integrations, and AI-powered systems spanning enrichment, scoring, routing, and outbound activation — turning a new signup, demo request, event list, or ABM target into a fully enriched, scored, Salesforce-upserted record.
  • Own fit scoring end-to-end. Build and continuously improve the pipeline that evaluates every account and person against our ICP and writes results to Salesforce — including signal design, batching, retry logic, and iteration on what makes the scoring sharper over time.
  • Power smarter outbound. Build AI-powered prospecting and personalization systems that help SDRs engage the right accounts at the right time, removing the manual research overhead so reps spend their time selling.
  • Build internal AI tooling that compounds output. Ship agents and tools for account research, call summarization, RFP and security-questionnaire response, proposal generation, and Slack-accessible agents that surface account intel on demand.
  • Own the demand-gen infrastructure behind the website. Take structural ownership of Luminate's web presence as a conversion surface — building and improving the tools, tracking, and technical foundations that drive engagement and SEO/AEO/GEO visibility.
  • Manage the GTM data and ad-targeting plumbing. Define and maintain account- and persona-based audiences across segments, synced across advertising, email, and CRM, with the attribution and conversion tracking that makes spend measurable. (Campaign creative and media strategy sit with the broader Marketing team.)
  • Create real-time GTM visibility. Stand up the attribution and reporting that let teams see what's working across channels and touchpoints, and iterate quickly.
  • Run experiments and harden what works. Test hypotheses on GTM workflows, measure impact against pipeline and conversion metrics, and scale the winners into durable, well-governed infrastructure.
  • Level up the field's citizen builders. Act as a trusted advisor to marketers, sellers, and CSMs already building their own agents and automations — and serve as the builder who turns their field-sourced ideas into production-ready solutions when they lack the technical depth to ship themselves.
  • Build it to last. Ensure every solution ships with appropriate guardrails around cost, performance, and operational sustainability, so what gets built keeps delivering value without runaway overhead.

What you'll bring

Technical

  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows and agentic systems in production — writing business logic, designing solution architecture, and shipping reliably at pace.
  • Practical engineering ability: comfort with scripting and data work (e.g., Python and SQL), API integration and webhooks, and workflow/automation tooling — enough to build, troubleshoot, and iterate on complex systems independently.
  • Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent design applied to real revenue-workflow problems.
  • Strong fluency integrating across the GTM stack: CRM, sales engagement, marketing automation, data enrichment, and intent tooling — e.g., Salesforce, Pardot, Clay, and Salesloft.

Domain and mindset

  • A working understanding of inbound and outbound sales development — you know what an SDR and AE actually do, what slows them down, and what a pipeline conversion metric means.
  • Fluency in how campaign data, intent signals, and lead flow connect to pipeline outcomes.
  • An experimental, detective's mindset — you form hypotheses, test them, and let the data decide.
  • The ability to communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical designs.

Nice to have

  • Experience building agentic or LLM-powered workflows in a B2B enterprise environment.
  • A track record inside or alongside a revenue org with direct accountability to pipeline or conversion outcomes.
  • Several years spanning GTM engineering, marketing/revenue operations, growth, or a technical role embedded in a sales or marketing team. We care more about what you've built than years on a résumé — a strong portfolio of shipped systems matters most.
